Hello there. I honestly can't remember why I exactly stumbled across this site and joined (It was 4 am, after a binge of minecraft and caffeine) but after reading the rules and having a look around the site I figured why not stick to my commitment? It seems like a pretty cool place with a diverse community, and I need a bit of companionship when playing games or I get bored too easily. 

But holy crap, this site is so crowded with so much stuff my mind goes "Wutdo", so much to do, so many links. My braaaaaaain.

But anyway I hope to have a long stay here and make some more gaming friends.

Thanks! And it's a combination of two things. The Nyx part is from a obsession with greek mythology I has when I was 10, Nyx is the deity of night, and I've kept it as a prefix in all my user names since. It doesn't come from Persona 3, like a lot of people tend to think And the Pip part is a nickname my ex that got me into PC gaming gave me. It also stuck with me. I like it because it will almost never be taken no matter what I sign up for.

laian : Hello there. Well this is a loaded question, because I'm horrible at picking a favorite anything, but I'm going to go with Sonic Adventure 2, that was ported over to the Gamecube. I know it's functionally bad game, bad camera/controls, has a bunch of plot holes and the voice acting is pretty terrible, but I've replayed it once every two years for the past 10 years because the nostalgia is just too strong. It was the first game I ever beat completely on my own, and I sunk hours into the chao garden as a kid.

@Jordanv78: Well I think Pokemon is what brought me here, but since I'd consider myself to be a pretty young 'retro' gamer, I want to catch up on the originals I missed because of age. Megaman is one I've always really wanted to explore more, because I only ever played one of the games, and it was one from the Battle Net Series.

You can even post on the VIZZED BOARD here, where you can do many things.
In the RETRO GAME ROOM you can play games and review them. You will have to download the free plugin to run some games.
Don't worry, it's virus free! you can also look at cheats and codes for the game you are playing.

Anyway, Davideo7 is putting a bunch of work into the site with the help of others.
If you have a good idea that hasn't been implemented or told before, drop a word to him.
If you can't find a good game, look at the hacks and homebrews!
Also, If something is smelling bad around here (a bug) Just report it in the bug thread.
(Remember to take the newbie quiz.)
If you want to be trusted, don't bug people or cheat.
You have to sit and make a bunch of quality posts.
It might sound boring, but it's pretty fun, lazing about writing a bunch of stuff.
(Remember to stay on topic... I had a hard time doing that!)
If Vizzed is getting boring, visit the chat room, tell your friends about it!

If you can't find good games, just look in the different genres and look at the hacks.
If thats STILL boring, I just say... Try The toon room.

This board is the best. It's not full of flames and spam. It's family friendly.
If I said a rude word, I wont just get banned if I had a reason. I get a warning, which will soon lead to a ban.
If I still spam and be rude, then It could lead to a perma - ban.
This is another reason multiple accounts aren't allowed.
Also, Tour de vizzed is on every now and then.
Try to aim for a rainbow jersey for getting the jerseys.
Don't just try to aim for your favourite color, though...
Try aiming for every single jersey!
You might even get a color you don't want.
Rainbow jerseys mean more people will go "Ooh! Tons of posts!" And might give you a trust point.
So, pretty much, If you still can't find a fun game... try waiting. tRIUNE and Davideo7 are still putting
TONS of games into Vizzed!
