Just a website that I designed and put together for a company

It's pretty simple but pretty crazy looking. I didn't want to spend a lot of time on it so I did something quick but I think it turned out pretty neat and different.

No offence, but ived looked at a lot of your work and it seems that your starting to over use your designs. Need to think fresh, and apply a design that really fits more with the type of website.

That design doesnt fit with a Web traffic (Basically, Communication) design.

Good, no doubt, but yeah.. as mentioned.

It's a great site but the design should be compact and not so flashy. Maybe just make two or three solid colors and a square sidebar. Amazing design but it doesn't really fit the concept.

I see what you guys are saying but it can take a very long time to make a decent layout. Takes me WAYYY to long and David can back me up on that lol. But I think the site is fine as it is. When David has more time he could remake it in the future but the good thing about the site is how it stands out from the rest. Even if he resuses his style over and over it still makes him unique comparred to the rest and that's a good quality to have.

I simply did not have my entire life to work on the site and because of that, I wanted to do something quick so I took a design I used for a board layout here and turned it into a design for the website. If had I just used solid colors, site would've turned out crappy and would not have looked legit. If you go to some of those scam sites, they are usually pretty simple. If a site is more unique or 'flashy' looking, there's probably a better chance that it's legit if the people are willing to put that much time into it. And although I didn't put a lot of time into the site, I had put a lot of time into the design which I reused.

And although the design might not match the site topic, that also can just be a matter of opinion. The whole point of being and doing things differently is just that, doing things differently and that's what makes it artistic. And when you do something out of the ordinary with a website, it sticks out and people may remember seeing that design and that's the ultimate goal when making a website is to stick out and get people to remember it.

Yeah, I love the design, and I know it takes forever to get a layout done. It still is great though but I dunno, mostly professional websites usually look... more boring. The site is a youthful approach

This is what I call corporate vs. creative... and we all know corporate SUCKS!!!!!!!!!! Yeah Wikipedia I'm talking to you lol.

There's 2 perspectives out there, the creative perspective and the non-creative perspective.

A non-creative person, such as IceWave for example, would find the site boring. A creative person however, like me, jigsaw or ibock, would find that site to be artistic

It's especially good for not being constructed with flash!

Hey now, i wasnt saying the site was bad.

Ive looked at almost everything you've made. It isnt creative to recycle your own work, sorry.

So dont tell me its creative. And dont have a go at me for telling you how it is.

It's the only time I've recycled my own work and that just because I *sorta* recycled a design, doesn't mean it's not creative.

Reuseability is not a bad thing many people do it including programmers and designs to name a few.

Jigsaw: Exactly.

IceWave: I've only done this once so don't go and say that I've done this more than once when I haven't.

I sorta redesigned the site. Still has a similar look but it's layout is a bit different. Let me know how this looks.

Also the new concept of this site is that someone rents the iframed portion of it with their own site.

Whoa, the red&black addition and the organization is great!

I like the new remodeling of it although if I was making it it would have the site below the content area if you know what I mean. Still awesome idea, havn't seen any other site do that. Works good for other sites but when it comes to putting one sites content in a frame something about it just seems odd

I could've put the 'rented' site below the main site but then there wouldn't have been enough space to have the real content of the site so that people could read about the service.

Well, it's nice and organized looks professional in a new kind of way.
