I was 11 years old when I got my first handheld. It was a Nintendo DSi XL that my parents got me for Christmas. I kept playing it a lot each day and I thought it was really interesting but a year later, I got tired of it and I gave it to one of my friends. Now I have a 3DS XL that I got last Christmas and it's a lot better than the DSi in my opinion.

I got my first handheld when I was about 11, only two years ago. It was a second hand GBA that someone was selling for £30 in the a park event. I did play on my mum's DS lite before that and I was pretty much the only one in the house that used it. The first handheld that I brought was the 3DS last year. It took forever to save up for it.

I'm thinking about selling my DS now for the 3DS, because it is basically a dead handheld, without new games being released on it. It is really good for long car rides though!
