I was about 7 maybe 8 when I got my first gameboy advance and I would play Pokémon games on it all the time and I enjoyed playing on it. I got my nintendo 3ds this year at 15, I think it is a pretty awesome handheld and there is so much to on it, I have 19 friends on the plaza that I have tagged and I make a lot of my posts from my 3ds when I am not able to be on my computer, it is very useful, but it takes longer to write a comment or a post from it because I tap one letter at a time instead of typing faster on a keyboard. Still though, it is a great system and I hope to get some games for it this summer, I want to get mario kart 7, Pokémon X and Y and maybe mario nintendo 3d land. I didn't get one until I was in middle school and it was a Gameboy Color and I got 2 games: Pokémon Yellow and Star Wars: Pod Racer. Only took me like 15 years to beat Pokémon Yellow(played it off and on and I still don't even have a level 100 on it). I've caught every single Pokémon I can on Yellow in their most basic form and have evolved them into their final form. Favorite Pokémon from Kanto would have to be Snorlax. Damn beast can take a beating, sleep it off and then beat you to a pulp.

I think I was 10 years old, I bought a DSixl. The timing was kind of sad, because a few weeks later the 3ds price dropped to only 10 dollars more than the XL. I really don't mind though. I have never cared about having the most up to date technology.
