9 years old and I got a game boy advance

I think I was probably twelve when I got my first handheld - which was the Game Boy Color. I had all the Pokemon games for it. (Still do, I think) Played the crap out of them until some of the Internal batteries died. (xD)

I believe I was may 9 or 10 year of age. I'm not quite sure. But it wasn't a handheld console, it was a few of those single game handhelds. Like I had one that was The Little Mermaid and the other was some kind of soccer game. It was one of these....



But I had two of those kind of handhelds. I don't think they had those console type yet and if they did, we were too poor to afford them.

I was around 5 when I got my GameBoy Color. It came with Pokémon Yellow and some collection of many games in one(Including Tetris). The speaker broke early on, but I didn't mind. I found my GameBoy again a few days ago and decided to see if it still worked, and it did. Sadly I couldn't find any of my old games except for one of my favourites, Wario World 3.

I got my first handheld when I was at the age of four and my handheld was the Gameboy advance.

I was about six when I got my first Game Boy, now that I look back on it, I really burnt through a lot of batteries. Good times, haha.

SunflowerGaming : I remember having one like that except it was the Sonic The Hedgehog version. It was kind of annoying at first but I spent more and more time with it though.

My first handheld was the Game-boy color, and I was around 3 or 4 at the time.

I want to say I was just 7 years old. I remember my grandparents getting me a blue game boy color.

Much later than most, my first handheld was the original Game Boy Advance which I got for my 11th birthday.

I want to think I was 7 or 8. I remember that it was my DS lite. 

If I can recall that far back, I think I was about 9.
That was when I got my first Gameboy color, and I spent many hours enjoying it everyday

Um can't remember..
i did had a PlayStation 1 when i was 10.
and i used to play A LOT of tekken3 my favorite fighting game.
i beaten my sisters so hard every damn time hahaxD..

i think i was like 9 when i had my first gba. But it didn't live for long.. I couldn't beat a astrix and oblix game back then so smashed my elbow through the whole console lol... then i went crying for 3 hours!
the day after i got a new one luckily enough hahaxD. This are really fun moment to think about if i need to think back about my childhood hahaxD how ridiously stupid i was as a child is so funny xd.

i got Pokémon ruby when i was.. 10? Is that correct?.. 10 years back that ruby first came out?.
can't remember.. But i remember playing that A LOT!
but my first gba game was medabots AX. I loved that game.. Even held link battles on my school back then beating the living shizzle out of everyone with my amazing archbeatle, metabee combination xD. Aha so amazing.

also when i had Pokémon ruby i was really focused on being the best.. Luckily enough i was that. Fought like 150 link battles on the schools.'s plain. And didn't lose a single one of em. I even beaten my neighbor like 50 times xD!. I didn't go to tournaments though.. I find this pretty dumb of myself.. I might had the possibility to win these..

but since the link battle system is now changed in wifi and world wide battles everything became harder.. + the fact that i don't own a DS or a DS Pokémon game..
i do have a DeSMuMe (DS for the computer)
with Pokémon hearth gold and soul silver, Pokémon mystery dungeon explore of time and darkness. Pokémon diamond and pearl. lol
and i also have digimon world DS (WHICH IS SHIZZLING AWESOME)
so if i train more on these Pokémon games i might try out wifi battles from my laptop. But i don't think this will work...

My first handheld would be the Game Boy Pocket. I was about 7 I think, I ended up getting it after my cousin had the original Game Boy and I used to play Tetris and Super Mario Land and Pokémon Blue. After a few years I ended up with a Game Boy Color when it had come out.

I got my first handheld when I was about 2. It was a Game Boy Pocket, and I played the hell out of Pokemon Blue. Loved playing that with friends.

I think I was about 10 years old.. Though I may be off a few years.. It was a Turquoise coloured Game boy colour and it came with Pokémon Yellow. 

Because back then I actually used to enjoy watching Pokémon before it became in my opinion rubbish.. I just didn't care for Pokémon after the original 150.. I mean I even had all the old Pokémon cards as well..  Zapdos for the win!

7 or 8 I played pokemon and tetris and had a blast. Good ol' days.
