What's your best or worse time fishing,hunting or camping?My first time deer hunting was only a couple years ago.Went with a friend on a hunting reservation and first morning I was dropped off at a spot and was told to get in the deer blind.After my friend left I left the blind and hung a lure scent from a branch about 15 foot away,and I sat down by a tree.It wasn't long and a doe came walking straight towards the lure and about 4 yards away from me! I was shaking but I knew I had to stay still.When the female deer passed me and was behind a tree I pulled my 270 rifle up and aiming at her back end I pulled the trigger,click it misfired I didn't have the slide engaged and scared off the deer.I sat there dissapoited,I knew I missed only shot at a deer.20 min later a six point buck came out 40 yards away and I sniper shot him with scope,he jumped in the air like a bronco and ran I shot him again on the run.My friend heard shot and we checked the deer out.I will never forget my first and only deer.I have it mounted so I will try to post pic.

Truth is I never really have a bad time when I go camping because when I do it normally turns out to be the best time ever!! Me and my boyfriend went down into the woods and went hunting and drank a little, He then asked me to marry him and I totally said yes... But he doesn't mean it I don't think. But! I will always love him! Back to camping and fishing, Well there was this one time I cast out the rod and my 80$ bracelet from my grandma went flying out into the middle of the lake.. I felt horrible and didn't tell her at all that I lost it.. But she died like 4 years ago So I know she wont haunt me for it..

Honestly I've never really been into hunting for fun. The only way I would hunt is if I needed to in order to eat.

I do enjoy camping and fishing though, although usually when I'm fishing I do catch and release. (Unless I'm fishing in the ocean)

My first time camping was in the 4th grade, which was a class trip for at least 3-4 days. At first I wasn't too excited about it until I got used to everything out there, though I got to admit, it was a trip I'll never forget.

My first time fishing was around the time when I was 7 years old. My dad sort of surprised me one weekend and asked me did I want to go. At first I didn't like the idea of going but once I got to fish I had fun despite the fact that there were ducks by the lake, boy was I nervous. I didn't catch a lot of fish that day but it was fun though.

As for deer hunting, I never had a chance to do that but when that day comes, I'll take that chance.

Being born and raised in New York City, I never had the opportunity to hunt, fish or camp. If only I were closer to upstate New York which is open fields and wooded areas ideal for these kind of things,I'd camp out with friends and hunt people....I mean animals! AngryBirdsFan55 :  I have been bow hunting only a couple of times and shot at a deer only once with a bow and missed : (  It's such a funny story. I was on the ground posted up on this game trail for three days in a row, same spot. On the third day two deer came out of nowwhere, i was lucky i had this little bitty tree inbetween me and the deer. I started to pull the compound bow back. Getting half way pulled back i started shaking because the bow was a little too strong for me, the deer noticed and picked her head up but by that time i had the bow pulled all the way back and i was standing very still. The two deer was about forty feet away, i leaned over a little past the little tree so i could take the shot (i felt like rambo haha) but i totally missed! The one deer ran off so i grabbed my deer call and tried to call it back, meanwhile i looked over and the second deer was just looking at me like what are you doing haha and ran off : (  I killed only one deer in my short time hunting with a 270 rifle, check the story on my first post in here : )

The worst thing about camping to me is the bugs. Once I had this weird fly land on me and it almost bit me. The bears are also a problem.My mom and I were walking and found a pile of bear poo in the middle of the path. Camping is fun but scary at times.

That was the worst fishing experience of my life, and I really like to fish too.

I barely remember my sleep away camp trips when I was younger. I hated it so much but was fun for the experience. I remember this one time I had to take an shower and I looked up at the ceiling and saw a fat daddy long leg's spider on a huge webbing area. I was really scared to see that and I took the quickest shower of my life. I would say I spent 3 mintues in there cause of how scared I was of the spider. Thankfully the spider didn't move at all.

I like camping. It's fun. It's wholesome. You roast marshmallows. There is NOTHING wrong with camping or sleeping in the outdoors. No one can argue that.

I don't like fishing. It's boring, and a general waste of time. What's the point of fishing? To catch fish? Why do I want to catch fish? I'm not getting paid for it. Plus I'm no good at it.

And I loathe hunting. It's killing animals with my own hands. For sport. Ew. I don't understand why I would be compelled to end another animal's life prematurely. I eat meat yes, and I know where it comes from, but hunting is generally killing for sport. I don't know many hunters who actually eat what they hunt. And I know even less hunters who even think about it. It kind of irritates me to senselessly kill animals.

legacyme3 : Yea thats cool, it makes me sick to see the trophy hunters even though the meat goes to use. I have my only six point deer full mount, it is a trophy to me but i made sure the meat went to somebody that needed it. I would rather hunt for meat other then the horns : )
