It's defnitely sparked some interest on the net. Right now I see 38 guests viewing that page, each with a different IP.
Also as you can see, the rating is doing pretty well on newgrounds http://www.newgrounds.com/portal/view/458165 Just imagine if the game was more complete or wait, just imagine if it DID have online feature, there'd be just tons of people playing it online all the time.

Keep in mind that it is not necessarily humans viewing that thread (or any other thread for that matter). When new pages are added to a site, bots are sent out to index those pages. It is possible that most of those guests are bots -- I know, because the same sort of thing is happening on NFF.

Reason why it couldn't be all google bots is because there is no point for more then one bot to view a thread at the same time. The only reason why it has so many hits is not bots but excellent advertising! From what I've seen, this forum can tell what is a google bot and what isn't and looks like the screenshot IW took only had 3 bots in it. Actually probably less than 5% of the guests viewing VFB thread are bots. The game has been submitted to so many flash game websites (without my permission but I don't care) that we've got traffic comming in from just so many different flash portals. In the VFB game, if a user clicks 'online mode', they are directed to that thread.
So I'll take credit for that traffic
