Don't worry. Firstly, most of us are on this board almost all the time because we like the atmosphere, not the downloads. Wouldn't it be fun to make friends on this board before downloading a random file? I mean, RMXP is OK, but I enjoy the board more, and the Trusted Member process is gradual, not instant.

i understand that really can do both (and i like to post on boards the most) but i had dreams of making my own game and selling it but i heard that its illegal using RPG maker 2003.

It's also *cough* illegal to sell Rpg Maker XP games unless you have the Legal Version by Enterbrain

Yes it's illegal to sell your game using most of the RPG Maker's I'm pretty sure. Game Maker you can legally sell your games you make with it I think, and it's free.

Also, any games you design with Flash you can legally sell. To be honest, I prefer Flash for game development over anything else, especially since it's flexible, powerful and the user can play the games right in the browser (oh and online multiplayer games are a possibility with it also).
