legacyme3 : Ask BNuge or YMK. They both quit one day of the VCS with one hour left because I was about 90 posts behind them. I passed them both in that hour. My posts that hour were all between 15-35 words, so they weren't the prettiest posts, but I DID make that many posts in one hour once. I don't think I'll ever pull that off again though, that was HARD.

legacyme3 : Hey, I was only on the board for 1 month at that point, don't say that. Besides, I DID have tactics that didn't involve spam to shave off precious seconds, like using 2 tabs and jumping straight from the "You have posted" screen to new posts to post again.

I don't know, if he hadn't hit up the Crazy House or any of the ABC threads, I could easily see getting 90 posts in an hour.

Leggy - In response to that....honestly, I don't remember. We're talking about a VCS that occurred last year in February! I do remember one thing...I beat Warp, BNuge and all others that competed that month!

YourMajestyKen : I was a slightly close second though... I don't think it was decided until only 2 or 3 days were left. If I had done that for this VCS I would have won.

WarpStarFerret : You were indeed very close and slightly tough competition. Perhaps if you're more active you'll have a chance of winning at least one months VCS since it's held monthly.

Haha. Wasn't there a limit to how many times we can post in this thread a day? But in all seriousness, it is nice to see that this thread has become so active today (even if it is by 4-5 users). I also like the idea of the double point deal. I just hope it doesn't cause some users to take that as an excuse to spam a lot to try to get a quick catch up to the higher ranking users. Although, I guess it just won't count for them if they do. But if that were the case, would that mean the spammers posts wouldn't count toward the 750 for the day overall? 

(I noticed there was another idea for VCS, but there is just so much to read here, so I'll read it later )
