I'm very pleased with the participation this month, 1st 2nd and 3rd place were all incredibly close, they all maxed out the scores and the times were very close. It's nice having the timer to keep track of how long the submissions took so that we can determine a tie breaker in situations where we have 3 incredible competitors.

Oh, that will be fun! How have the reports on the beta tests been looking so far? Anyway, I am looking forward to the next Mario Paint Competition. I am also looking forward to the day when that pure time trial feature you mentioned is implemented (the one where places are based off of time and not score). That would really get some participation.

rcarter2 : We've only had a few users do beta tests so far, Tom expects the new plugin to be ready by Monday but we'll see. If it isn't ready by Monday, than I'll just go ahead and make the new competitions without using the new games.

Ohh you mean the speed runs? Yeah I'm excited about doing that, not sure when I'll get to adding that but I'd like to do it within the next 1 or 2 months. I'm thinking that we'd almost have to have 3 monthly competitions than, 1 for high score competitions, 1 for screenshot competitions and another for speed runs. In fact, 2 year anniversary of the RGR competitions is this May I think so that'd be a perfect time to start doing 3 monthly competitions.

Marcmoney : I did it a more honest way that took me 6 hours to do. I kept warping back to world one over and over. But then madison asked David if the infinite lives trick (which also gets you points super fast) was allowed, and he said it was fair game. So she did that and got the time she has here. The only way I could win was to use the same manipulation she did and try to do it faster. jerryaberry did the same thing. It was pretty fair considering madison posted that she used that so anyone could have tried to do it to.
