Hey everyone, National Pancake Day is next Tuesday, the 28th, so if you live in the United States (and maybe other countries) and have an IHOP nearby, I would highly suggest you head out there for some free pancakes. That's right, completely free, no strings attached!

That is, unless you're like me, I always end up spending way more than I would have if I had just bought the pancakes, for you see, National Pancake Day is fundraiser for the Children's Miracle Network, and I donate more than the pancake's share of money. And you should too! Or even if you just donate the price of the pancakes, it's the thought that counts!

So go on, get out there and head to an IHOP for some free pancakes, and help support a great charity.

Oh and by the way, IHOP is spelled with ALL CAPITAL LETTERS. Anyone spelling it with a lower case "i" is a commie.

I have one pretty dawn close to my house it's crowded as hell there but last time i was there i got food poisoned on that same night and plus since it's free that mean homeless people will be there and that is just sick. I'll pass on there *vomits*

I remember taking advantage of this last year and getting free pancakes.~ It's just too bad that it's randomly on a Tuesday, so I can't stay there all day and eat all the pancakes I want.

I think they limit it to one stack per customer, anyways.

It means, if you go to IHOP on Tuesday, the 28th of February, you can get a free stack of pancakes.

National pancake day was a complete success. made the best pancakes I ever had with some orange juice and biscuits!!!

Hmm, only 4 more days until National Pancake Day, I can't wait. I'm gonna make my mom drive me up there really early to eat all the pancakes . lol

I don't recall ever seeing an IHOP anywhere near where I live, but I'll be sure to be on the the lookout when I go places. If not, then I'll just have my own. One can never turn down an opportunity to have pancakes.

death_nation : Negative, Ghost Rider. There are no IHOPs where I live currently, but I'm on the mailing list because they used to send me a coupon for a free Rooty Tooty Fresh and Frooty on my birthday. Well, they still do, but these days I can't use them...


Anyway, this thread has run it's course, National Pancake Day is over, though I can't seem to find any statement from IHOP regarding how much money they raised... I'm sure it was good, National Pancake Day is IHOP's busiest day of the year.

And sucks to see I missed it. I've always preferred waffles anyway. Call it blasphemous, but there is something about waffle that places them above pancakes.
