The Vectrex was a video game console made in 1982 by General Consumer Electrics. The Vectrex was the first console that had 3D peripherals and the first portable console. It could use Vector Graphics to make higher quality games. It failed after an intense crash in the video game industry. GCE failed along with it, selling the Vectrex to Milton Bradley(now Hasbro). The Vectrex left the market in 1984. (Wikipedia) Now, there is a Java based emulator (ParaJVE) for the Vectrex and most games are in the public domain or are freeware. Adding the Vectrex would be adding a more broad view of the early gaming industry for Vizzed users. Only a few games are still being updated and supported. They sell for $35 a piece. I hope that this request has been acknowledged and properly set upon.

EDIT: FYI: The vectrex has many legal ROMs and a legal emulator that actually includes public domain/freeware ROMs. The emulator is ParaJVE and ROMs are at the Internet Archive.

I have been wanting a vectrex emulator on here for a long time. Calling it portable is a bit of a stretch. I mean come on try playing one of those huge things in the car. It seems impossible. The vectrex is the only game console that uses 100% vector graphics making it unique and special.

Vizzed.com is very expensive to keep alive! The Ads pay for the servers.

Vizzed has 3 TB worth of games and 1 TB worth of music.  This site is free to use but the ads barely pay for the monthly server fees.  If too many more people use ad block, the site cannot survive.
