Just to be clear on why this is different from the one in the debate forum.

People's religions in this forum is NOT up for debate by any means.


As for me? I used to be a Baptist (Christian) unill I was mid 13 and something happened.. I just couldn't convince myself there was a god out there. I was kind of an agnostic for a while then slid into atheist.


I think Wicca is a pretty cool religion a humanists and scientologists are neat.

Protestant is pretty much just every thing except Roman Catholic. Episcopal would be classified as a Protestant Christian religion. I dont know much about the other secs.... each has their own interpretation of the bible, but are pretty much the same.

John you have forgotten about the Orthodox. They are separate from the Catholics, but not Protestants. THey spilt in 1054 or somewhere around there, a couple hundred years later the protestants spilt from the Catholics. From my experience Jehovah's Wittness believe ONLY what's in the bible and do whatever it takes to get the truth from the source instead of relying on christian dogma.

That Jin, is true. We don't folow religious traditions, unless it's inspired by God in the Bible. And we put alot of time in studying it, everything from word translation to the symbolism, and we don't twist it, as maney religions do. And no we don't believe in the trinity, if you want I'll answer why in the bible thread, it's very locical from the bible... I think I did in the old board but oh well.

If it's not in the Bible, than don't follow/believe in it
The Bible says at the very end not to add anything else to the bible.

All you need is the pure un-edited Holy Bible, follow its teachings and practice what it tells you, and your set to go, it's all you need
