Vizzed RGR Plugin v1.5 is available!

NOTE: Be sure to close your internet browser before installing the plugin!

Once downloaded, all you have to do is install it, it'll automatically uninstall the previous version. If the plugin has problems, uninstall it and reinstall it.

This is the most important RGR Plugin update so far. It's got so many more features, tons of bug fixes, far more stable, and so much more.

New Features and bug fixes:
-Famicom Disk System added (games can be found here)
-No more 1MB Circuit Board Error
-Many previous GBA games that didn't work before now work (including the DBZ games)
-Mouse input works in SNES
-Less issues with keyboard input not working
-Less problems with losing save files
-Overall runs smoother with less crashing
And so much more! (over 100 hours have gone into this update)

Maintenance Complete
The server transfer is also complete. All of the files have finished transferring from the old server. You should now be able to save/load your game progress, take screenshots, compete for highscores, etc.


Want to become an RGR Staff member?
Go through and take screenshots of as many Famicom Disk System games as you can, if you take enough, we'll hire you to the staff within a day. Our goal is to get screenshots of every FDS game.

Their link was removed from the menu for the time being due to it causing problems, it'll be added back later but for now you can find the games at that url.

Hey David. I am probably just blind right now, but I do not see the link to download the new version of the plugin. Where is it?

When, I went to play Yu-Gi-Oh Gx Duel Academy. There was a new saved file that wasn't mine

pikmin124 : The new hacks haven't been added yet, that will be added though within the next week.

Either it wasn't listed or I'm an idiot, but, does the new plug-in allow netplay?

The new plugin works and it is a bit less laggy than before, but I'm probably speaking too soon lol I've only tried it out on one game, I'll try it on more games, but I'm confident it will work. Thanks for all of the work you have done to vizzed.com and for the ones that helped donate to help out. I'm sorry that I could not donate anything. I do not have a job atm, so I'm trying to spare or save up for now.

The plugin is still not able to upload screenshots for me - it says screenshot upload failed. They also don't appear on new retro game discussion threads:

The staff upload center seems to not be uploading screenshots to the pages as well.

Edit: also the default search for a game entered will search for FDS games instead of all.

And was the select/ unselect all button removed?

Davideo7 : Well the problem about the GBA is not totally resolved it. I erased and uninstall every about vizzed in my computer. Then I download the plug-in again and it turns out that is working normally...except for the joypad configuration, every time I open it it goes crazy and replace every button to the key P. It's moreless annoying to get used to the controls. So can you please check it out?

Not sure if this is 100% related to the maintenance, but...
Both of my pics are still set as errors. I waited till maintenance was finished, and nothing happened. I then tried to reupload them, seeing that they won't show up, and they still wouldn't show up. I even tried a new picture, and even then it wouldn't work. I tried uploading the user pic and mini pic at the same time, then at different times, just to see if it was an issue with having them set at the same time. In the end, they just wouldn't work.
Do you have any idea on how I can get this fixed?

I have not tried the plugin out yet, but I wanted to show my appreciation, especially for the link to the User Data folder. I've had it as a saved folder ever since I was told where to look, but it's good to know that there's a direct link now just in case another search ever replaces that saved search in my folder. Thanks!

danielbelitch : Am I missing said link, I don't see it lol?

tRIUNE : It was one of the first things that popped up in my task bar when I went to hit the 'start' button. It's a yellow folder icon under the "Vizzed Retro Game Room" folder and it simply says "Plugin User Data."

also a note for Davideo7 : Just tried out my Pkmn Fire Red. Hadn't played it over a year due to saving right before the credits, but I guess the answer to my previous question is that you will need to restart to experience the benefits of the "1M Circuit Board" error being fixed. I don't know if it's just me or if it's supposed to be that way, but the game was still insisting I hadn't played it before. But the error IS fixed and I can save in-game now! Thanks! It's kind of a shame that I don't even remember the pokemon I had before, but I guess that also means it doesn't matter. I'd rather start over anyways and re-experience the glory that is the Red Version remake. 

danielbelitch : I didn't get that, lol what OS are you using, I didn't even know that was an implemented feature.

For the 1m circuit error, I'm almost certain that you'll have to delete your ;local save, but I'll let David confirm.

tRIUNE : What is the 'local save?' the save with the emulator? that's the only save available. Maybe I'll figure this out eventually and use my great knowledge on Emerald, since I put more time into that file anyways. lol

And I'm using Google Chrome on Windows 7. Figured it was meant to be a feature. Maybe it's my personal present. That'd be a nice thought. haha

danielbelitch : Oh, that most likely popped up because you had that directory as a saved folder. There isn't any link to that with this update.

I'm not fully sure how this 1m error is fixed, I thought it would be automatic, but David should be able to explain it better.
