Every once in a while, somebody makes this thread saying exactly that. They never get much activity. You really need to be specific which what you can help people with. If not, one of two things will happen. This thread will get little to no posts, or you will get floods of requests that you couldn't possibly do (which would turn this thread into a spam place). So to avoid that, specify what kind of things you can do instead of just leaving it to 'anything'

I started playing aria of sorrow last night and I couldn't figure out how to go down into the water. The part is after you fight the big skeleton at the beginning of the game, there is a passageway underwater but I can't go down yet. There's another way, but I can't make the big jump, even with the falling armor, what do I do? Please help. The game is Castlevania: Aria of Sorrow GBA.

thatdude : That question would best be answered by PMing the Retro Game Room staff, for future reference. But being that you asked here, I'll answer it.

The site itself may have finished transferring to the new server, but the saved files have not (being there are a few million files from there, and David is doing that transfer himself). Like David said in the recent announcement, saving and loading will be down until it is finished. As the save files are being transferred to the new server, they are pretty much just put in piles. They are not sorted out back to the users who made the saves. Until all the save files are through transferring, they will remain in these piles as 'public saves'. Because none of the users have save files assigned to their profiles, when you try to load a game, it just randomly grabs a save file from the pile and lets you play it. That is why you get a different save every time you load. When they are all done transferring, they will immediately be reassigned back to the users who made them. David will make an announcement when that happens, so keep an eye on the announcement notifications.

copperfield : I have made a PM to the local moderator of vizzed, now I need to wait for a reply, I can wait, because I can EXP grind in the beginning of the game with the big killer fish, when I'm low, I can go to a save spot, refill my health, and do it again. Check out my super Mario bros 1 NES walkthrough on vizzed by posts, tell your friends so I can do another post (can't double post). I need at least 1 reply after each post on my walkthrough in order to do the next one. My posts will show only 1 level at a time, so there will be 32 posts. Thread is in the walkthroughs.

Game problems like graphic glitches, sound problems, control problems all go to RGR Staff (unless you know how to answer the question).

Site problems that you can't answer go to Local Mods.  If can't be answered here in the Help forum.

You should never bother the owner of the site for problems.  Always ask the mods if the Help forum isn't helping you.
