I have a Panasonic VDR-D210 camera.
I recorded some videos to put onto youtube.

The problem is:
- When I insert the disk into the computer (after it's been finalized) I get a folder full of .Bup .Vob .Ifo files (and I dunno what to do with them)
- I don't have software to run these files, except for DivX (which has errors with the videos, but can run them)
- I don't know how to turn these files into something to put onto youtube.
- I don't know what any of these files are, or do.
- There's no FAQ on this on the Panasonic site.

Help?
Oh, and the files are all on one DVD-R disk.

Maybe get a copy of the Nero suite, it'll most likely be able to play those files and convert them to some other format. It costs money though but I'm sure there's a trial out there.

Go to google and type "free dvd ripper" download that program to rip the video image from the DVD. If you can't figure it out, PM me or contact my MSN (krazytrain1985@hotmail.com) and I'll send ya the file.

If you can't get ahold of me through those methods, email: bigjm2daz2003@yahoo.com

I had the same problem you are having, because I just bought a DVD recorder as well :-)

VLC Media Player will play anything, even DVDs not in your region.
.vob are the ones you'd want to play I think.

To convert them... hmm.. Possibly to zip and send/upload for us to take a look at, maybe rip an ISO.
