I have been facing this for my entire Senior year.  This person, who I really hate seeing and hearing, happens to be in 2 of my classes.  Sucks that I have to see him everyday.  Anyways, he is annoying because he would sniff every 5 to 10 seconds and he laughs like he is inhaling.  The worst thing about it is that he acts tough (like says something to start a fight and he would just kid around).  I am getting tired of him and till loser life.  I have thought about beating him up, but I cannot do that cause I want to be able to get exempt on my exams.  I did think about beating him up on the last day of school, but I am not so sure.  What can I do to have a good day without seeing him everyday?

Marcmoney : You do the only thing you can do, get over yourself and deal with it. Throughout life you're going to be around people who are obnoxious and annoying. You're going to be in situations where you want to yell at someone (or maybe even assault them, like you want to do) but it won't help anything. It'll only make things worse for you.

The fact that you want to cause him physical harm is a bit disconcerting, however. Nothing can ever really be solved with violence.

I agree with sox, you cant go around beating people up because you find them annoying, thats really not far off of a bully.
Deal with it, if you cant handle this youre in trouble because youre going to be surrounded by people you dislike all the time, especialy when you start working.

I'm really not saying this in an attempt to offend you, so I apologize if I do so. But it seems to be a fairly common occurrence for you to contemplate and plan on beating up peers who annoy you at school. Last year, you made a thread just like this one about a kid who wanted to be like you, so he mimicked the way you acted. You got annoyed and decided you wanted to beat him up. I'm sorry, but you really seem to need to learn to be able to sort the serious stuff from the kind of stupid little things. You are going to find people that annoy you. When you get out into the real world, you are going to have to work with these people everyday. You can't just go beating them up for it. These things are really petty things to get so worked up to the point of violence just to shut them up. I disagree with the numberone in that it isn't far from bully. Doing something like that is a bully. Don't be that person. Honestly, it seems that you need to focus less on beating these people up and focus more on learning to figure out what things are just too petty to get that worked up over.

It doesn't seem to be just this one kid, as you made a thread last year about a kid who used to mimic you because he wanted to be like you. You pretty much said the same things about him. Unless this is the same kid, there does seem to be a big of a tendency. Either way, the answer to your question doesn't change. You have to decide whether or not you are going to pay attention to him. If he is talking crap about you, so what? Like you said, he doesn't have many friends, so it isn't like anyone cares what he says about you anyway. From what you have said about what he does, he is the loser, and others probably think the same (hence, the few friends). Forget him. If he stares, don't bother looking at him. It just makes him look weird. Like I said, you are going to run into times in the real world where you won't have school things to stop you from punching someone. Best learn now that no matter what the circumstance, beating someone because they are really annoying you is never right. Even if they are extremely annoying.

Yeah, I kinda agree with soxfan. Envisioning the person you hate dying isn't the most healthy thing, isn't it?
I've been in your shoes a few times before. There are people out there in my school who literally act like their only reason to exist in school is simply to annoy me. I always just ignore them, but they'll go as far as to shout my name out loud in the middle class just so they can see me get mad and go into a rage or something. The closest I've come to that is just acknowledging how annoying they are. I could try defending myself by fighting (I'm certainly positive I could take down a few guys), but it's all pointless. They'll just be more aggressive towards me the next time I see them. The best thing I can say is to just try to distance yourself away from people who annoy you. When I do it, I can easily ignore them and they end up no longer being a problem for me. I certainly never envision them dying.

I just want to start off by saying that its a load of crap that you cant solve everything with violence. Its unfortunate yes but there are a few things that can. However your situation isn't one of them. If you were being bullied or physically picked on regularly at school you can defend yourself physically. I was never one to instigate a fight even though I could fight well. Its not a good thing but when people think they can push you around sometimes you have to show them that they cant. I've had to do this twice and people stopped messing with me then. However it's nothing like your circumstance, I didn't beat them up because they were annoying. I beat them up because they would attack me first and that gives you every right to defend yourself.

Just so you know I am not trying to penalise you or anything. You haven't done anything yet but take these ideas of beating up and imagining them dying out of your head. It will never be useful to you. What I recommend is if you cant just ignore them, tell them that they are annoying you and to stop. If it continues, tell a teacher.

Marc hate to say this but it sounds like you need help. Having thoughts of beating people up and or thoughts of them dying is considered not good at all. Those thoughts can and will lead to bad choices in the future. The next day of school contact your school councellor and talk to him/her about these thoughts. You need help and this is the best time to get it while your still in school and have all the help for you right there.
