Math is my least favourite. I personally love Reading and English, and would rather spend my math time in those classes.

Gym.

It's required because the state wants schools to force kids into staying in shape.  I play three varsity sports (Cross Country, Indoor Track, Track & Field), so it's kind of ridiculous that I have to take valuable time out of my school day to play sports I hate and listen to the jocks whooping like primates.

The school kinda says in the student handbook that you can opt out of P.E. if you do extracurricular sports year-round, but my useless guidance counselors don't want to deal with it.

Scorpyx :

That view upsets me. Because being healthy is extrememly important. They are looking out for you health like you should be. Besides that, gym is hella fun even if you are playing complete idiots and listening to the "jocks" being jocks.

And be thankful you even have that provision. Some school require 4 years of gym to graduate with no exceptions.

I hate math. I hate it. My least favorite class of all time, was Accounting. It's required for all Business Majors.

And I loathed it. DX

legacyme3 :   I am taking care of myself.  I'm a pretty good runner, and I work hard at it year round.

Perhaps it's just my school, but our Gym curriculum doesn't focus on fitness at all.  Even when you put effort into it, nothing improves.  We don't do anything that makes us stronger, improves our cardio or respiration, or helps anyone lose weight.  Even the "fitness tests" that the school only started this year are mundane; the Gym teacher thinks it's hilarious when kids don't try, and it doesn't even affect the students' effort grades.
Badminton and Softball are the only units I look forward to in that class because everyone gets to do something.  Soccer, Football, Handball, etc. consist of four or five of the aforementioned jocks passing the ball from end zone to end zone.
Still, the rigor of the hardest gym period we ever had doesn't even come close to the amount of exercise we get on a recovery day in track/indoor/XC.
I wish my school would act on the provision (for anyone, even) because I would much rather have a tech class or Driver Ed or do something more useful with my education.

tl;dr:  Gym at my school ≠ exercise, my after-school sports are rigorous, my school day should be education.

As a runner, I totally understand this. Of course it doesn't come close, since the expectations are lowered to a more... attainable level. Not everybody has it in them to go through a cross country/track practice.

Sounds to me the problem is more your teacher than the actual class.

Because I was in a same situation, and yet had an absolute ball in that class.

(although maybe it's because I'm more like one of afforementioned jocks who got to showcase their athleticism)

Im gonna have to go with History.
I absolutely dread it. Every time my teacher talks on and on and on about the past i just dose off and fall asleep, and he lets me sleep because i have an A in there. I don't see the point in learning about the past when the future is so much more interesting. Would u rather talk about flintlocks or lazer guns, Wagons or hover crafts, ect. However it is a class required by our government so theres nothing i can do about it other than continue doing what i already know and sleeping.

My least favorite class? English of course. I am good at a few things that are in the course but there were some lessons that I had trouble with as well.

Algebra is pretty tough for me since there is rarely good explanation to the lessons we are taught. I rarely get it.

I hate English. I'm a pretty good writer, and I read at a very quick speed, but I think the problem lies within the teacher, who expects us to make inferences no high school freshman can reasonably make after only reading the book once.

As much as I hate algebra, I hate physics the most. It's supposed to be a science class but all we ever do are math problem.

An hour of teachers finding a way to complicate common sense...

My LEAST favorite classes are Art and Social Studies. Social Studies isn't THAT bad,the only possible way I could see it being helpful for you is if you were to go into politics and run for office, which I know I'm not. The Civil War is pretty cool in a way, but it just gets so long and boring sometimes.

My issue with Art is that I'm not an artist; I suck terribly at art. To add to that, I'm also sorta a perfectionist so It'll take me all day to draw something that everybody else can draw in 5 minutes. That kinda infuriates me even more because it also leads to unnecessary homework.

Well, I was actually good at every subject in school. If I had to choose my two least favorite subjects it would be Astrology and AP Calculus.  AP Calculus was hard because it include everything you learn from algebra, geometry, algebra 2, trigonometry, and even stuff that I had learned from statistics. Astrology was fun ,but it just got kind of boring sometimes. My least favorite part of astrology  was when we had to memorize all of the constellations and we had a test on them.

I honestly hate math and all math sub-subjects but ironically, I'm awesome at math. It just clicks and makes sense in my brain whereas it'll take others a whole class period to understand a certain concept.

My least favorite class this year would be this boring and lame agriculture class that I thought would have been cool to take because of the way it sounded in the description, but it is so boring, most of the students fall asleep in that class because it is so boring and I can't really blame them. All we have done this year is make a biltmore stick and measure trees, make pointless boring projects in the shop out of wood, and we talked about the types of cows and dairy farming, and the basics of plants and what they require for growth. The only semi fun thing we did this year is experiment with welding and make a few little practice pieces on welding with trying to join pieces together, that is it though, this class was boring and I regret taking it, I am glad I have a wider variety of much cooler classes to take next year as a sophomore.

My least favorite subject is English because there's always a lot of projects and my English teacher is giving us our 3rd project in a row. If 7th grade is already about non-stop projects, then I can't imagine what high school will be like. Ugh!

My worst class would have to be my English IV class. Everything we go over in it is basics, like capitalization. On top of the teacher doesn't really seem to care about how his students are doing.
