I don't know if it was different or not. But my math teacher took it too. In college she got a 167 and on the test she got 165, so it was pretty accurate.

Also Einstein was older.

I was 13 at the time so my mental age was around 20. Also the time you take for the test has something to do with the score, so I am not sure of what my mental age actually was. At the end of 7th grade I made the average score for a high school graduate on the ACT.

I didn't know age affected IQ. If a 30 year old and a 15 year old answer the questions the same exact ways in the same exact amount of time, their scores would be exactly the same, their age wouldn't matter.

I'll experiment with that test tomorrow. I'll press tab and space bar over and over again (which would make all my answers true). With that, both tests will have been taken in the same amount of time with the same answers... On 1 test I'll put my age as 15, another I'll put my age as 45.

I got 115! YAY! I totally agree your IQ is only the rate in which you gain knowledge. Some people with low IQ have bad motivation and usually have no purpose for a high IQ.... well not like that. For example... Einstein? or some great inventor had to cheat through high school. He copied off all of his friends to pass... and look how he modified our way of life. They used to get everyone to take the tests and the scores went on their permanent records and so teachers expected more out of people with higher IQ's. This again doesn't relate with academic intelligence. It really depends on how you define intelligence as to how much you should think about IQ.

Oh and don't worry if you just got an average score. Don't put yourself down or call yourself retarted.
