If you pick "Other", than please specify what the other is. Other can be either a clone of a Mario Kart game or a rom hack of a mario kart game.


For me, it's a toss up between Mario Kart DS and Mario Kart Wii. There's just some things about the DS version that I like over the Wii version but if I had to choose one, I'd pick Wii version only because I can play it on a big screen and I like the new feature of 2 wheelers and doing tricks. But thing I liked about the DS was, besides being portable, was the levels, I liked the level choice a lot. Another pro to the Wii version over the DS though was that the battle mode on the DS wasn't that great but the Wii probably has the best battle mode in my opinion. Another Pro to the DS is that I liked the way the karts handled, but I guess because I've played the DS version more that is probably why I'm a lot better at the DS version than the Wii version.


So a quick answer: Mario Kart Wii for Mii

I'm going with Mario Kart 64. Actually I think I tried the one on the Wii but hated it for some reason.

I tried the one for Wii and it was AMAZING!

both the wii and the 64 version are gr8 but i prefer the 64 version.

I haven't tried the wii version yet so I'll have to go for N64 version. That one was a lot of fun.

I'm sure the Wii version has upsides over most others but I probably won't ever play it so I don't care.

I've only played the N64 version. I was playing it last night, actually.

My roommate has the Wii version but I've not played. We should play that at some point maybe so it won't feel like such a waste of money.

Being a fan since Super Mario Kart, I voted for Mario Kart DS.

The others are awesome, too.

tight tie between SNES and N64 but id have to give the edge to the N64 version, it was just a better game experience

The DS is...
well i'm always in first, and i get the crap weapons, and its to easy to win.

On N64, its fun to get good weapons even when your in first, and it makes it challenging.
I havent played the Wii much, so i wont say anything about it, but when i did play it, it was fun.
and why is yoshi so cute on that game?

I have to go with Mario Kart DS for the all around game. I look back fondly on the N64 version but it doesn't really stand the test of time. The fondest memories will always be with the SNES version... all around there's just more there with the DS that makes it playable to me alone.

I actually liked Double Dash the most.

Sure it had some bad points but the co-op gameplay is so f***ing hilarious. XD

Pretty tough to pick one as there's several excellent choices. I picked the DS version because the best racer usually wins (and that is usually me, lol). Snaking is what it is, and I enjoy snaking my way to victory.

Mario Kart DS; best track choice EVER. Delfino Isle, Luigi's Mansion, the Battleships from SMB3, it was fanboy heaven <3

Hmmm.... pretty hard to decide. They're all good games for me.

But I'll go with Mario kart 64. Why? Because it rocks.

Allthough i pretty much grew up having only played the Mario Kart 64 lately ive been playing alot of Mario Kart DS and Wii and although i love them both i think i prefer the wii version because of the Aerial Tricks, Drifting System, Wheelies and the Bikes. Plus i can play it on a big screen. Although it isn't as portable as the DS version i still enjoy it more.
