I was recommended here by someone special. I have known him many years.

But enough about him. Me!

I like to think that I'm a writer, a runner, and reliable. I've written a novel (and am subsequently rewriting it entirely), I used to run a lot every day (3km in fifteen minutes is my best time), and, well, I have nothing to attest to reliability. I'm likely not.

I used to be a huuuuge forumgoer in my youth. Even on dial up, I made thousands of posts a week, or more, it seemed. (that my be a little bit of a stretch) Nowadays, I've calmed considerably. However, this seemed an alright place, I may as well give it a shot.

With that said; hey y'all.

The forums are nice, the RGR is great, and we have a great amount of other cool features.

This forum is a throwback to the style early 90's ACMLM boards, mixed with a completely new experience created by Davideo7.

This place it really addictive, I hope you like it.

Tell ya what, man, this forum makes our days on TPH seem like a snails pace. It's a posting frenzy here. Remember how we both sort of topped out at around 5000 posts? Most users around here consider that chump change.

Oh yeah, I also forgot to mention that a lot of the members here are big into running. There's even a Parkour thread in the Fitness section, so check that out. Users to look out for are Davideo7 and Legacyme3 who are both into running even more than you.

Anyway, welcome to the forums! Now we can get some real RPs going!

I admit; it's a tad daunting. Many more things and options available here than many forums I'm used to.

However, I'll try to be diligent, and I shall do my best to master it all and become a responsible and productive member.

alexanyways : You posted about the same time I did, so I didn't see your post, but I just thought I'd point out that Acmlmboard wasn't made until like 2002 or so... But certainly not in the 90s.

Lazlo Falconi : I always thought it was in 1997-99 era, anyways, I was only a toddler back in those days, I wouldn't have a clue of what existed and what didn't back then.

I meant to say late 90's, not early 90's, but I was still incorrect nevertheless.

So long as it's channeling 'dat oldschool spirit', I have no objections.
(woulda been awesome if it was built like a BBS, though)

You say you've written a novel? Like, a real whole published one? Or just a little story you've made yourself? Either way, I would love to read it myself. I'm a bit of a writer too, so it'd be good to see another. :3

I only skimmed over Forever Winter, but it looks amazing! I'll definitely read it when I have the time, though. If you guys ever need an extra writer/editor, you know who to call. x3

Making this many posts is nothing, really. Back in the day, Lazlo and I could spam a place up like nothin' else, making hundreds of posts a days of just back-and-forth silliness.
Ahhh, youth.

And, well, I haven't published my novel. I plan to! But see, I started writing it when I was in eighth or so grade. I finished it a couple years ago. Needless to say.... I had improved a lot in the time since. The beginning parts of my novel are almost unreadable to me.

So, I started rewriting it completely from scratch. =D

My original novel was about 120 pages long. My rewrite is sitting at about 40 pages thus far, and I've only rewritten about 8 pages worth of my original. I've gotten quite a bit more eloquent.

I plan to post both the rewrite and the original here at some point. Though, I highly enjoy my collaborative works as well. ( Lazlo Falconi: What say you to us cleaning up One Day a bit and posting that here?)
