Make sure after you beat the elite 4 to press f2 before you save. I made the mistake of pressing f2 after I saved and it made me start over. The reason why you should use f2 before saving is because if it tries to delete your save file you could press f2 and save again and maybe your save file will remain. You might have to try more than once though. It might not work the 1st few times but it will eventually

Diana4281 : How many times did it take you to have a not corrupted file? I beat the elite four once and it went fine, but I beat them twice to get rock climb and now it's always corrupt. I have reloaded 25-30 times already... Thanks in advance.

I think that the corrupt/ deleted file is actually due to the configuration of the emulator. This is supposedly going to be fixed with the next update of the RGR Plugin.

What I did was save before I went in to battle the 1st of the elite four, then after I beat Cynthia I had no problems with my save file.
Same with the second time I beat the elite 4.
