While there is no information, no screenshots and no release date yet, a remake of Chrono Trigger is finally going to be Officially made, but on the DS.

DS has been immensely successful when it comes to remakes of games. FFIII, FFIV, Dragon Quest, all of them. Chrono Trigger should be AMAZING as an adaptation to the DS platform.
