Windows Media Player 11 is actually a huge improvement over previous versions, in terms of UI and general bug fixes. Of course, if you're only just down downloading Windows Media Player 11 I should say that you need to keep your system a bit more up-to-date, because most viruses attack older programs. Also Microsoft has cancelled support for Windows XP so it might be time to upgrade.

pi0x : Not sure about alternatives because I don't do a lot of composition, and my Korg DS-10+ and Trippy-H handle that for me when I do get the urge, but a quick Google search of the situation shows that Fruit Loops Studio 10 should work fine under wine.

Of course, if all else fails, you could always just install a Windows virtual box.

I have been downloading dolls for my ssp ghost program on my computer.  It puts anime dolls on my desktop they interact with each other and me.  Though the program is in english, the dolls only speak japanese.  I hear there is a new version called Flefle now, considering downloading that too.  But I love my dolls for SSP~

For instance: The video driver crashes whenever I try to hook up a second monitor. Now, this may be because I'm trying to connect the second monitor through my main board's VGA output with my primary monitor on my video card's DVI out, but I never had this problem with Windows XP...

I recently downloaded the Jupiter power management application for Ubuntu. It's very handy for my Toshiba, which used to have a big problem with heat dispersal. Now Jupiter gives me 3 nifty CPU clock settings so the processor doesn't overheat so much.

I'm trying to install an english version of ukagaka ssp ghost dolls.  The new program is called flele.  I am having problems of it working the talk baloon isn't showing and thus I can't use it.  Once I get it to work I'll write a guide up on how to download and install the fun little program~

I downloaded tmux onto my server today and tried to install it, unfortunately Godaddy has done some crazy madness that keeps the configure script from working right. I don't even remember what the error was, but it was something that should have been easy to fix but due to the fact that I don't have su access, was impossible... Ahh well, I guess it's my fault really. If I weren't connecting through PuTTy on Windows I could have just installed tmux on my local machine, but instead I have to have thousands of windows open.

I just downloaded AnvSoft a free video converter. I was using realplayer but it seems their free video converter turned into a trial version with the recent update so I can't use it anymore. Thanks to AnvSoft though I get my videos in MUCH better quality~! It's faster and better than what Real had so I'm happy now I still get to watch my anime on my portable media player~!

My brother gave me a japanese copy of Princess Maker 4 for the PC. He got it from a co-worker who was selling some of his japanese games at work to gain some extra cash. My bro works at a translation company. He also knows I like the princess maker series.

So I downloaded the program AGTH that grabs the text out of the game. To translate it I was able to get the translator program ATLAS that takes the text from AGTH and translates it. This was at the same time when my grandpa got a flat tire and I was able to help get people to change it for him. So he offered to buy me something and so he ended up buying the full version of ATLAS for me! So now I can play any japanese game in english now!

The only thing is that AGTH does not like to work on emulators... T.T That would of been sweet!
