I haven't watched it in a very long time, but I remember enjoying it.  I thought the physical challenges were so cool, especially the ones with mechanisms involved (like a huge glass box over a city that would drop the bottom out after 30 seconds)!  I wasn't squeamish or anything, but the gross challenges (eating bugs & the like) just seemed pointless to me.  I stopped watching it when I couldn't stand the commentary, interviews, and commercial breaks.

I used to watch the old version awhile back. It was fun for awhile, but the show got old quickly. I was surprised when I saw that they were bringing it back, but to be honest I keep forgetting to watch it.
