I have both consoles and I prefer xbox 360 games... better games, in my opinion better graphics and xbox live crushes ps network (considering it's free). The games I play in PS3 are God of war 3, uncharted and that's pretty much it...

So being the console player and having both systems I will say I prefer the PS3 to the 360 for the fact that

a)online is free and it does hold water to 360 online, even though the 360 has money that people pay for it (Seems like everything on the Xbox Live you have to pay for, everything! also Lag is lag and I doubt they have dedicated servers... I know Halo 3 doesn't and MW2 as well. Also playing MW2 on both 360 and PS3, 360 players tend to camp a lot (I mean a lot) and the games matches seem to be slower than PS3 ones).

b) There are a lot of great titles coming out for PS3 this year (whether or not they are on the 360 is irrelevant because companies that release for both just want profit and so they release for both)

c)The hardware actually works! It was reported that something like 33% of all Xboxs will RROD. Way to pre-release a system guys! I don't think the YLOD for the PS3 is that high of percentage.

d)*lesser point, more nit picky* 360 has copied a lot of things that PS3 has done such as, Allowing to copy game content onto HDD for faster load times. Larger HDDs as a standard and looks design (new Xbox 360 design out now).

e)Things you can do with a PS3 that are way harder to do if you can do them at all with a 360... Browse the internet (Gamefaqs is a fav before playing a game or just looking up stuff without having to boot up your computer). Stream from a media server and access th information (Really quick with a PS3, it scans for media servers and voila you have you content). Allows users to upgrade your HDD without having to buy one from Sony (1TB PS3 anyone?)... AND until recently, you had to pay for wireless to your 360, which PS3 gave you free (all this without touching on the whole blu-ray).

PS3 all the way i have had four 360s and they all are at the tip with the rest of the rubbish that doesn't work, plus if you excessively play it overheats and becomes slow and laggy.

The PS3 on the other hand goes on and on and on which is ideal in a gaming marathon, the PS3 isn't trying to be a Wii either with Mii's oh sorry Avatars.

I know some people will mention Home but that is just a online Sims clone which i think Sony wasted money on when they could have been making more decent games.

Now to the graphics PS3 is better Sony produced games have the gameplay and the graphics these publishers that make multi platform games and use the "it's so hard to produce games for" excuse need to go back to uni and learn how to program properly, it's not harder just different like MAC is to Windows that is all, if utilised properly the results are breath taking as Sony continue to show us all with all of there own releases.

I know i will be slated by the 360 fan boys which are worse than PS2 fan boys may i add but i am speaking from user experience.

I don't have either but from my experience, PS3 was easier to navigate and the 360 had an easier social interface. I wish that they could be fused together because they'd make the perfect system.

Personally always like Playstation when it came to consoles as my main pick, but Wii comes in a close second, I just play the PS3 more so I voted for that. Prolly never will buy a XBOX or anything microsoft when it comes to consoles for the simple that Nintendo and Sony has never failed me in my decisions.

PS3 upsides are: Blu Ray Player, Built in Wireless, Bluetooth Compatibility, Streaming Media etc, Free Online Gaming and very respectable specs..


Obviously the ps3 is a more superoior system. i have not heard anyone mention the sixaxis contoller which can do alot the the things the wii can do. The ps3 is practically a computer. you can hook up a keyboard, mouse and printer. Its internet browser is almost as good as internet explorer. Also the ps3 updates itself frequently so add ons are always coming onto games and the system itself.


So, I have to say PlayStation 3.

I like the PS3 more my current favorites are God of War III, Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2, and Resistance 2. Graphics and gameplay are pretty amazing with the PS3 so I must cast my favor over the PS3.

Um, I'm just not interested in what the Xbox has for the most part. When I finally upgrade, it will be to PS3.

aw man now that got me. for me it's a tie. both of them have good network services (XBOX Live and PlayStation Network) and that's all I have in mind
the only new thing is the Kinect and Playstation Move (the second one never seen).
But I would choose the one with best games.

Im more of an xbox person because evrytime im playing MW2 on ps3 there is always an annoying kid who doesn't shut up.

This is a dumb obvious question...PLAYSTATION 3 of COURSE! Nothing can compete with PS3..not even Wii .

PS3 the online is free and it works great second xbox has a 70% chance of failing PS3 has a 2.5% chance of failing and it has a built in blue ray,but xbox has halo reach which is awesome and i dont have xbox 360 I have PS3 so I would say there both great consoles the real crap console is the wii

I think that the ps3 games far supass the X box 360 games. The thing is you have too wait 20 minutes for the game to load and thats where the ps3 fails. But you get free online which is good
