What can I say? This game was the first game I ever owned by myself on the original Gameboy, and it was the best game I had ever played! Even after I switched to Gameboy Color I still played it and conquered it all. Still to this day, 13 years after I started playing it, I am still playing it as if it was a new game! The music sounds amazing, the graphics great compared to other Gameboy games, and the difficulty being perfect for someone who was 9 years old when they started playing. This game will be my favorite Nintendo-brand game until the day I die, that is for sure.

What else about the game do you like? Can you elaborate why this game succeeds above the rest? That's what a good review should be about.

I think Pokemon Red is one of the best classic games, too. It just feels so much more expansive than most other Gameboy games, compared to the worlds you could explore at the time. It's why I love Pokemon today!
