Hey there everyone! As is pretty obvious, I'm a new face around these parts. Glad to come aboard your crew of fine  folks. Looking forward to all the conversation and friendly banter I am sure we will have.

A bit about myself. In terms of gaming, I play the whole spectrum of games. I own all three current generation systems, as well as an N64, Sega Genesis, Nintendo DS, and a PS2. My current obsession is with sports games, as I have a couple of friends that I play against regularly. Money is tight so I do not tend to own the newest games, but I am almost all the way through Skyward Sword.

In terms of the rest of my life, I am a student studying math and education at the University of Windsor. I am very into sports, with the Toronto Blue Jays and New England Patriots being my favourite teams. I love to read, and listen to music, and am open to suggestions in both.

I haven't played through Skyward Sword yet, but I heard it's a great game. Do you like it too?

I'm no fan of sports, but you can find a lot of them in the Sports section. One of Global moderators, legacyme3, I believe to be a big fan of sports too. ;3

Thanks for the warm welcome everyone. Now to try to answer some of the questions.

I found vizzed looking for a place to play some retro games (mostly N64). I have a 64, but don't have it set up due to the lack of space in my apartment, so this place is great for that.

In terms of my favourite games, my favourite usually comes down to whichever I'm playing the most at the time. So for now it's a toss up between Skyward Sword and MLB 2K11. Looking back, I've killed a lot of time on MGS4, Zelda games, and then stuff with good multiplayer. Not a big FPS fan, since I suck at them, but I enjoy playing it with friends.

Skyward Sword is great. Having some problems completing it (short gaming attention spans) but I am loving every moment of it

Music: Favourite artist is Yellowcard. I listen to almost everything, and right now I listen mostly to country, indie, and pop punk. But if there's a good band out there, I want to hear it. And I do like Switchfoot, so good relation.

Books: Big fantasy fan. David Eddings, Terry Goodkind, that kind of 'epic' fantasy stuff, though I was not amazed by Tolkien. I'm currently reading Moneyball (surprise, sports!) which is a great read for any baseball fan.

As for my accent, that was totally intentional, but it does become habitual at times. I am not southern myself, but take on some qualities, especially when I'm listening to a lot of country.

Hopefully we get more chances to chat. I'm hoping I become a large part of the forums here.
