I agree with Bigbob, at this moment, PS3 has only 2 games I'm interested in that the xbox 360 doesn't have (MGS & GT5). And since I have a xbox 360, no need for a PS3 yet. Though that is a really good deal and does sound tempting, but I still couldn't justifying spending that much money for 2 games
...unless they had final fantasy 7 remake

Looks fun but I kinda stopped playing the Final Fantasy games after they left the playstation

Don't have time for them anymore and I'm still mad that FF10 got rid of the world map and sorta changed the way the games played


EDIT: BUT I am getting a 42 inch (or 46 inch) LCD HDTV (1080p) in a month or so and I will want a bluray player so getting a playstation 3 might justify that...

Just buy the 80 gig PS3. It can play PS1 and PS2 games. Very well, infact. I actually was able to play some PSX games that were scratched up very badly on my 80 gig PS3.

The older versions of the PS3 were able to play PS1 and PS2. But then they removed the functionality for some reason. I believe that they now recently reinstated the PSX backwards compatibility in their machines.

I highly doubt that the PS3 would be able to play PSX games, and not PS2.
