As anyone who looked at David's update or looked at the memberlist have noticed, the site now keeps track of how many words users have posted on the site. Under your Post Exp, you see the average word count of your posts. What is your Post Exp average?

Right now, I am averaging 79 words per post. I gotta admit, a large portion of that is thanks to my reviews, as they are about 1,200 words each .

According to the new update, I'm about (avg 48).

That's not too bad all things considered. My first 1000-2000 posts were extremely low in quality, and I've made my share of joke posts and CH posts.

It's probably closet to 75 when you get past all my early spam posts lol.

I only have 34... That's not very high...

It's mostly due to the Crazy House posts, ABC posts, forum games, etc. But I guess now I have to make a more conscious effort to expand my posts.

I knew some one would make a thread like this fairly soon lol.

I actually kind of like this new "post exp" thing... although it caused me drop... very far.
And I was so close to being in the top 50, now I'm stuck at 88 for a while

I got a decent average considering the amount of posts I have, I'm managed to climb 5 or 6 spots on memberlist because of it. 62 words per post is my average (if I never posted in crazy house it would probably be much higher). And my post experience is close to 400,000.

Within the next few weeks, months or whatever amount of time it takes, I intend on getting at least in the 40ish range or above. It's not difficult, I just need to post more in the other forums than I do in my favorite forums.

So, just wondering. Has anyone else been more conscious of how many words they put in their posts? I have. I noticed that I do not want my post average to drop . I'm happy where it is right now. So, I was posting this morning, and realized that I am doing pretty well at keeping posts above 70 lately. So I looked at my profile and saw I am now up to 81 words to post. I'm starting to think that around this area is probably where it is going to start to cap off. I found my daily post count has dropped a lot because I'm too focused on keeping my post exp average up. That is hard to do in a LOT of threads. I'm going to stop worrying about it. After all, my post exp still increases per post no matter how large they are. Not like there is a way right now to view rank order of post exp average
