One of the things I loved most about the New Year parties is the fireworks. My family will get together and pool a bunch of cash for the kids in order to purchase fireworks. After drinking a bit some of us would then do stupid things like attempting to "modify" the fireworks, we are such great role models.

This year though I will be spending New Years with my work family which means no drinking or personal fireworks sadly. Although I am looking forward to seeing some of the bigger fireworks shows with my fiancée downtown.

So what's everyone else going to be doing?

I have two plans currently... one I'll do if I'm with Tabi, and the other if she's not here.

Plan A is obviously if she's here. It's a secret though. So I can't say.

Well, I don't intend to do much, as I have work from 4am-3:30pm on January 1st, so I can't stay up too late. I might have a glass of wine or two, but that is it. I have a friend who's birthday is on the 31st, so we will probably celebrate her birthday more than New Years.

Yeah. Because my birthday is the day after Christmas and hers is New Years Eve, we are kind of having a joint birthday deal. My birthday rarely gets celebrated because it is right after Christmas, so yeah. As for the night thing, I don't have to worry about crazy drivers. The route I take is a rarely traveled road (the place I go is 45 minutes away from here). I gotta look out more for possums and deer.

I wont get to go to any kind of New Years party... *sigh*

I remember going the past few years I would always go to my friends house and party it up with fireworks food, and soda!

But this year instead, I'm going to New Mexico, can't exactly remember where, but it should be fun...hopefully.

Probably I'll make effort to be on here.  My family doesn't do anything for new years.  Christmas is our big shabang! So now we have no money for new years~  We used to have a nice little buffet for over night and watch movies, but since we have my little sister she always goes to bed before 9 pm...  I miss having that buffet....  When I lived with my mother we would go all out.  My folks would invite their friends and we would party all night long!  It's lame that everyone just sleeps the night away...
