I agree that Bukokai Tenkaichi 3 is the best so far. I recently checked out Ultimate Tenkaichi. The graphics are awesome and all, but there are basically 4 controls you have to know. That makes it SO repetitive and far too simple. You end up doing the same thing over and over again. Tenkaichi 3 has so many different actions that you can do that no fight ends up looking the same. It is absolutely insane.

has no 1 heard of ultimate tenkaichi? it has really great graphics and although they cut out the original DB characters, it makes up for it with a new mode called "Hero Mode". U can make your own character in "Hero Mode".

Dragonball Z Budokai: Tenkaichi 3 is definitely the best Dragonball Z game which is one reason why it's on the PS2 AND Wii console. I had a blast playing Tenkaichi 3 on my PS2, then I got a PS3 and moved away to college. So I don't have the luxury of playing when I want. ....Unless I bought the PS3 version, which I'm considering. Tenkaichi 3 is my favorite.

You fly wherever the heck you want, and you have a lot more freedom of movement. And there are like 40-50 different things you can do to fight, which requires so much more strategy and adaptation. To do the whole tutorial of the game took like an hour and a half to 2 hours. I finished the whole tutorial for Ultimate Tenkaichi in like 20 minutes. Everything was just way too repetitive fighting, which was a big disappointment.

My favourite was Legacy of Goku 2, but I'm really more into RPGs than Fighting games, so I guess that makes me rather limited. Plus it was the first Dragon Ball Z game I ever played and I just thought it was awesome to be playing a dragon ball z video game.
