Kelly Clarkson or Avril Lavigne?

Which of these 2 music artists do you like more and/or think is better.

Honestly, I'm a HUGE fan of both. I think Kelly Clarkson has a slightly better singing voice, however I LOVE the lyrics to all of Avril Lavignes songs. No other artist has touched me emotionally as Avril's songs do. If this were a poll I'd choose both.

So the question remains....

That was one of the things he yelled. The *RIP* was supposed to be the ripping of the wax paper. Now I look at it, and see it can be interpreted as Rest In Peace. oops....

Avril Lavinge by far. This May will mark the 10 year anniversary of when I first heard 'Complicated' and since then, I've been a hard core fan. I love her voice and lyrics so much. I've seen her in concert four times (never missed a show), and I had the pleasure of meeting her in 2008. She's a wonderful person and will always be a favourite of mine.
