Well I think it depends on your preference of games...you should make a choice among all the option of consoles that out on the store or will be out then you decide really....it depends really on you because i have friends who told me they like Wii a whole lot...for "Experience a new way to play." ....you really do action as you play....you can move run along..make a shoot....

Generally the Wii is outdated, and you'd probably rather have something like a PS3 or 360. (both of which are actually getting cheaper). Either that or get a WiiU.

I think you should totally buy a Wii, but if you want to get a cheap one that works, go to the local pawn shop. They sell them there anywhere from 50 to 80 bucks, and the pawn shop wont sell it unless it works. That's just a suggestion if you decide you want to buy one. They are fun systems to have, just don't play where you might hit something, I've seen people break bones because they got too aggressive and fell or hit something.

I would say getting a Wii would be a great investment. There are great games on it like Skyward Sword, Mario Galaxy 2, and even Mario Party 8 if you ever have friends over.
