Definitely the originals.

A remake is generally just a graphical update with few new features.

The original paved the way for that game.

I guarantee you more work was spent on design on the originals too..

I like the originals but to me The remakes are better. I just like better graphics when I see the newer graphics for games I get bored of the old ones and want the newer. It's just me personally. The originals are great I just prefer the remakes.
