That is a pretty big decision you are working out. Any idea what you might want to try to study in school?

I'm really not sure how to word this, but I'm really considering going back to school.

I'll make it short and simple.

I need a job.

The only way to get a decent paying job is to go to college these days.

As such, the only way for ME to get a job would be to go back to college.

I'm not sure yet. I'll be talking it over with family to try and get the best solution.

I think going to school would be the best idea. Studies have shown that those who go to college get the better pay. ;3

I think you'll be able to do it. If you really buckle down and study, you'll do well, you'll get the job you want, and you can pay off your college in no time. xD

Go to college. You have nothing to lose and everything to gain. Go in as undeclared and just take general classes. I'm sure something will spark something of interest in you. Good luck~

I'm halfway through my second year of college right now. I have my own problems, so I've been debating whether I should take a semester off at one point. But if I do, I'll never want to go back lol. You should definitely go back to school. It'll be worth it even if you just take every and any class that sounds remotely interesting to you for the first semester/year. Go through the initial class list before signing up. At the end of the semester decide which classes where the most fun/interesting and pursue their corresponding fields. You'll have a declared major in no time.

I decided to major in Aerospace/Mechanical Engineering initially based on a Drafting class that I wasn't happy about being forced into in High School. You never know which class will make all the difference!

One of my friends just took generic courses like math etc cus he failed them in highschool,its the way to go.

Well Before You Do That Think Of What You Are Good At. Drawing Dancing Acting Etc. If You Want To Be Good At Something That You Aren't Good At Going Back To School Would Be The Best Option.

I think You should go back It'd be best for you. With how the economy is now a day If you want a good job you'll need that college degree But It is up to you If you want to or not. If you can do It than why not?

I'm not sure if the status of this changed or not, so I'll drop in my two cents.

If it's about money, you should go to a community college. They're cheap as h*** and the credits transfer almost anywhere. In my state, there's a government program that has all sorts of bonuses (including guaranteed admission and tuition discount) depending on your GPA. Get two years done there, then go to whatever four year school you're looking at.

The best part of doing the two years at the community college is that you also get most of the standard requirements out of the way, so when you transfer you are taking primarily courses for your major.

It depends whether you simply want to earn more or you want to learn so you continue going to college. Just a tip: go to college not just for profit, but mostly for your passion.

I went through construction job to construction job until I had it. Then I went to a tech school for only 9 months, surprisingly,and it landed me a career.

Yeah, though I couldn't get a lot of work a while back - all I could get was construction which I'm pretty good at but the work sucks.

I say go to school bro; it will get you places in your life.

Have you decided yet? Because this is a really big decision, leggy. If you go to college, we will miss you. But, it is also necessary so you can provide for yourself. And just like everybody else is asking: what are you going to study? I am interested to find out.

You would do very good if you went to college, because the study is our passport to the future, the more you study, the better.

I don't like to go back to school.Its the worst thing on earth.

This might be a bit late as a post but you might be able to go to college for free. If you apply for the right government funding and all, you can go for little to no money.

I am going to college, I had to stop going for a couple semesters because I lost my job and couldn't afford the gas, but I've never really had to pay anything more than a few dollars and I've actually gotten back about a grand one semester as the leftover of what I was awarded one semester.

And if you're going to go back, go back for computer hardware or something in that field. Computers is one of the biggest industries today.
