Hello people it's starwars293 here. My friend helped me with this review. This time I am reviewing Super Smash Bros for the Nintendo 64. This game is great. You get 3-d graphics,you have Nintendo characters that you have never played before if you haven't played their games like Star Fox,Mario and Earthbound/Mother. Super Smash Bros is a really good game. You can play up to four players in Super Smash Bros,but if you play single player mode on vs mode,you can have a CPU has your opponent. There are 9 different levels of CPU's.1 in the lowest and 9 is the highest level.

 In Super Smash Bros,there is a mode called Classic Mode or also called as 1 player mode. What you do is you pick your character,pick how many lives you want in which difficulty you want. The limit of lives are 5. If you play Classic Mode for the first time,start with 5 lives and go with the very easy difficulty. You get to fight 9 characters and Master Hand as the boss at the end of Classic Mode. There are 2 Bonus Modes. I have never done both Bonus Mode 1 or Bonus Mode 2,so if you guys know what you do on both Bonus Modes,tell me and maybe send me a video of both Bonus Modes.

There are options for Vs.mode that if you want time mode,stock mode,just time mode or just stock mode. On vs mode,you get to pick your own character and pick the CPU a character. I'm gonna tell you the characters at the end of the review. If you're gonna play Super Smash Bros on Vizzed,well the game will freeze and crash plugin. If you have a Nintendo 64 and the Super Smash Bros game cartage,then the game won't freeze. On Vizzed the game mostly freezes at the start menu when you are selecting what you're gonna do. But other than that,Super Smash Bros is a really good game.Now on to the review.

Graphics-I have to say that these graphics are great.Nintendo took sprites from their Nintendo 64 games and edit it. Like how they took Mario's Super Mario 64 sprite and edit it.

Gameplay-The gameplay is pretty good. In fact this game started the Nintendo Wars like Mario Vs. Link. They even have team battles in this game.

Story-There is actually no story. But one Classic Mode,you just have to fight up to Master Hand.

Difficulty-This game,well the difficulty would depend on how hard or easy you're playing the game. Like for an example,when you're doing Vs. Mode and you set the CPU level to level 9,that makes the CPU hard. Also for another example,when you're playing Classic Mode and you set the difficulty to very hard,that makes the characters very hard to beat.

Depth-Well all it offers is unlockable characters,that's it.

Sound-The sound and music in the game are pretty good. Like when you're selecting your character on both Classic Mode and Vs. Mode,you here epic music.

Addictiveness-I would want to plat this game over and over again. After all it's a good game.

Characters=Now I finally get to this part,the characters. There are two type of characters. One is called starter characters and the other is called unlockable characters.
Starter Characters-Donkey Kong,Mario,Link,Samus,Pikachu,Fox and Yoshi

Unlockable Characters-Captain Falcon-Jigglypuff,Ness and Luigi

Overall-Super Smash Bros is a really good game on the Nintendo 64,and I would say it has a good classic mode

Wrap things up-Super Smash Bros for the Nintendo 64 is a really good game. I would play this ,but it would freeze on Vizzed but whatever. I would still play it. I would love playing this game and so would you!

I agree that the Super Smash Bros. for N64 was an amazing game that started one of my favorite Nintendo series.

As I'm typing, I'm playing Brawl, which I bought yesterfday.

Good review. It's cool to see how the series has evolved over the years. If Nintendo decides to release a fourth one they had better not screw it up..

This is a pretty good review, Super Smash Bros use to be in my collection of N64 games irl. I enjoyed playing it, good game.

Super Smash Brothers is so awesome.  I still play it some of the time on my Wii (that I got from Wii Shop).  This game may be old, but it can be addicting in my free time.  Very good review.

Oh man i remember this game back in 1999  thats the same year when everyone was sucking on pikachu joystick I really love the commericial of him getting his butt kick by my favorite nintendo character Donkey Kong!!!And each time i see a review of that game they talk about kicking pikachu butt i love it cause of that and i thought it'll take forever for them to make a sequal cause they needed to work on more nintendo titles just to add more characters in and why wouldnt they have a female in the game plus no bad guys? but then they just made one as soon as the gamecube came out back in 01 and you know the rest of the story from this point on .

Very great game in my opinion. Although it's the weakest of the three games in my opinion, this is something definitely worth playing, just for the nostalgia. I still play it to this day on my Wii, and it's fun each time. While the gameplay was bit iffy, playing this game with three of your buddies all the time was something you could just never get tired of in a million years.

vizwiz123 : Yeah,I maybe 10 years old,but I always wanted to play the old games like this one and Castlevania SoTN just to see how fun they are.I usually see videos for which one of the old games I wanna play and if they're good,I would want to play them so badly.

Super Smash Bros seems like a good game but it always keeps having strange glitches. I wish I could play this.

It seems this thread... gets bumped a lot.

Anyway, nice review! Very in depth and helpful. The online versions are worse than the console versions IMO... well I guess in a lot of peoples opinions.
