mike345: For me, it depends on who is substituting or who is teaching. In my school, I like it better when a substitute comes because we don't get any homework and she barely teaches  but when a teacher comes, I get a huge load of homework and work to do.

   Yeah, I definitely like substitutes better. Teachers are good, and most of them are nice, but after a while, they're just there. Substitutes are new, exciting, and there's not as much work to do. It may be a person you know. It may be a fun person, it may be someone who is mean, but in the end you laugh at them. They may even be a staple for conversations that are just complaining. Don't get me wrong, I like my teachers (except for science), but after a while, you want someone new. That's why new teachers every year are fun.

mike345 : Be careful in what you wish for. Responsible teachers who are on the ball usually have sub plans for the substitute to follow and more often than not contains a bunch of busy work. Whereas with the regular teacher, that is usually not the case. Plus, by having a sub, your generally not learning anything new, can't ask the sub questions(because more often than not they don't know squat) and the classroom devolves into talkative chaos to the point that doing work in other classes is next to impossible. Hence my choice is obviously Teacher.

I prefer regular teachers. The subs tend to be really mean and bossy. The teachers know how your going to act and have been working with kids for a while, so they can handle it better.

Do I like Substitutes or Teachers?, Well  I favor substitute teaches because when there's a sub for the period, the work is gradually more relaxed and easier, you can basically get away with more things such as eating and listening to your iPod during class and I find subs more entertaining and laid back then my actual teachers and way less more annoying and more lenient toward what ever you do.
