Every 5 seconds it occurs, and it lasts from 5-8 seconds so literally its longer then the time i get to play the game! idk why its doing this can anyone help?

What games and systems does it do this for?

I've also had this problem once, it may be a glitch....

Is that the only game you are having this problem with?

Fire emblem sacred stones - Final fantasy tactics advanced - are the two games ive been playing, i dont know if any others do it, do you want me to try a few more really quick to see if they do it as well?


EDIT: ive just tried two more games i played, and found something odd... 

Dragon Warrior Monsters 2 - Cobi has the same problem BUT

Pokemon emerald does not, i hope that little bit of info helps in some way

If you could try 1 game for each of these 4 systems that'd be great: NES, SNES, N64 and Genesis.

But first, try these few things to see if they fix the problem:
-Restart your Internet Browser; simply close out of it and open it back up
-Uninstall and than Reinstall the Vizzed RGR Plugin
-Try restarting your computer
-Try using a different internet browser, your current may not be supported

Ok give me a few minutes and ill try the games, First ill try reinstalling the plugin, but as for the other 3 steps ive done that by simply switching house holds from last night, to right now. ill tell you if its fixed or not right after i reinstall the plug in

 NES, SNES, N64 and Genesis. are all fine, i really dont know much about this, so its looking grim for me o.O.

I am not totally knowledgable about the RGR since the update to the plugin.

Did the games you play work before?
Were they games you just bought?
Did you clear your cache and then retry?

Uhm, yes im pretty sure just the either day i was powering through a mission and the saved state problem would be ALOT less frequent and alot less potent then it is now

No, i did not buy these games, not really sure what you mean by that

Ok I'll try to get this problem taken care of with the next RGR Plugin release which will hopefully be within a month.

Might as well summon everyone so I can try to clear this up. This was discussed a while ago (back when DH was here).

I had this same issue with this game. I also had this issue with some of the GBC Pokémon games. My general opinion is that it's basically a form of lag. For whatever reason, the game lags when it's running too much at once (same thing happens with all programs when all of the computer's RAM is being used).

For games like Fire Emblem and older versions of Pokémon, it's able to run for 5-10 seconds, then it stops for a few seconds. I guess when it stops, the emulator wants to have a message to display, but there are no default messages for "Lag." Instead it just says that it's saving. I also tested it a while ago.

I saved with F2.
I played until it did the "auto-save."
I pressed F4.
The game loaded back to when I saved instead of loading the "auto-save"

This further confirms that it's not actually saving. Lag is really the only explanation that makes sense unless all of these games are glitching.

Unfortunately, the only solution right now is to deal with it. Sorry.

The games are streaming so it wouldn't make sense that it was lagging.

The auto saving has always been an issue with GB and GBC games inside the RGR Plugin but it was never a problem with GBA games until this new version of the Plugin.

It actually was always a problem. The Fire Emblem games were having this problem back before I started posting regularly. It's an old issue that was just never addressed. It always ended with "all you can do is deal with it."

BNuge : I wasn't aware that any GBA game had the issue with the previous plugin.  I played a few GBA games and a few Pokemon games and never had the issue.  Was it just FIre Emblem for GBA that had the issue?

As far as I know, the issue has only been with the GBA Fire Emblem games. The FE games on other systems never had a problem and the other GBA games never had any issue either. I played most of the GBA Pokémon hacks and those never caused any trouble.
