Elesa has a really good team. Her battle strategy was very "shocking"! The Volt Switch move along with the Electric Flying caught me off guard. Excellent job Game Freak. Kudos to you for finally making an electric gym leader that is actually challenging.......stupid Volt Switch..........

NEver played Gen V, so I won't vote Elesa. For the others, Surge all the way. He (at least in Yellow) has massive cajones to challenge you with only a Raichu.

Also, I loved the challenge his gym puzzle gave me as a kid.

I have to go with Norman from the Hoenn Region. His Slaking was very tough to take down when I first fought him. Honestly he is one of the few gym leaders that made me sweat, but luckily I still won    that facade attack his Slaking uses was quite annoying  -___- there's nothing better than beating your dad at his own game =P

Really, I think the best one was Wattson. His Electrike & Voltorb were pushovers, yet his Magneton wouldn't let go down,and when it did, his Manetric finished up the job. I also sort of like how he's an old man, yet he's got the energy of a 6 year old. Funny, huh?
