I finally gotten me a PS3 and held onto it for a little over a week now. Last night I signed up for PSN to explore around the Playstation Store. I've downloaded a couple a demo. Until I can get me some money to download full games, but I've been exploring around Playstation home where there is an 3D chat world. I'm new there with only one friend, which already creeps me out. Lol. Anyways. I'm looking for new friends for those who are willing to be my friend on the PS3. I'm a noob there and know very little of the place and I would like to know more about it, because the people there are no help. Either ignoring me. (Which doesn't bother me) Or doesn't give me any useful information to know more about the place. Anyone willing to help out this noob there? Until I get my PS3 back from my step dad. I won't be on there.

What do you need to know? Just about the whole entire thing in general or just Playstation home? I do not know much about home but I do not a bit about the network. Though I do not know as much about leggy I am assuming. I will summon him because he loves his PS3.

Ok oddly enough I do not have a PS3 so I cannot actually be your friend. Though I am at my neighbors on his almost all of the time. He does not actually use the network all that much but he does use it for games. Though he does not go on the PSS very much. Just because a lot of that crap is expensive. XD

If you're talking about someone showing you around in Playstation Home I haven't been on that in a long time, and I know place has grown immensely since I was last on it. Several of us here have PS3s. There should be a thread for PSN names that you can add. Mine is "CyroXero". You can my name on my PSN trophy at the top of my layout. Let me know what your name is, or that you're from here so I can accept your invite. I sometimes get friend requests from a several people, most of whom are kids. So I don't really add most of them. I can try to go on Home with you, but depending on how much the place has changed I may be as lost as you are. There will probably be many new things that I don't know about, and I'd also have to recreate my character.

But, welcome to the PS world. You've made a good choice in your gaming decision.

billythekidmonster: I've browsed through the PSS and some of the full games that caught my interest are surprisingly pretty cheap. Around to 10 to 30 dollars. Not bad if I say so, but I can't get any of it, because I'm flat broke. Lol

Cyro Xero: Sweetness, no worries if you wind up getting lost if the place changed a lot. I wouldn't know if it changed since this is my first time. I couldn't get to use my user name here on there. I'm guessing it's already in use, but my user name there is "Teviel" Green pants, black tank top, black hair with glasses. Giving some detail looks on my character just in case you need more. I've only browsed the internet on the PS3 so adding people, etc is all still new to me.

Well there are some good games such as shadow complex on the store. Though I do not find many of the games all that appealing to me. I think that the software titles such as Killzone are better. There is also Jak and Dexter!

There are some good games on there. I like playing Jake and Daxter, but that's because I'm in to the Action Adventure games such as God of War, Fallout, Ninja Gadian, ect. 

There's really nothing I can explain to you. You get what you give. You'll learn most of the things about PSN on your own.

I don't use PSHome, so it's not something I'm entirely knowledgable about. I used to be, but it has grown since.

Last time i was on ps home was months ago,i beat batman arkham asylum on hard and unlocked the bat cave house on home which is cool.

Its funny,i got home beta so played before release,i downloaded everything,then when they launched it they put prices on,iv got like,6 different houses/lairs.

When your signed in,you scroll all the ways to the right,and click,add a user,and type there name.
It is not case sensitive.
Also,on the far right menus again,it has a bit called recent users.
These are the last people you've met(be it on pshome,a game,or a demo.)
You can push triangle,and add as friend with them.
So didnt ur ps3 come with a disk game?

thenumberone : Ok, when I get it back. I'll give it a shot. As for the disk game. No, it didn't come with one, because I got it from a pawn shop. I had to buy me some games. I have only two disc games right now.

Some games that i know are dirt cheap but good(about 6-8$):
Haze, i like it.
James bond,quantam of solace:campaign sucks,online is awesome.
Bioshock1(you may have it for something else)my favourite game.
Farcry 2 is quality campaign,online sucks though.
Batman,arkham asylum:unbelievably good
The orange box(great set of games)
Resistance,fall of man(launch game for ps3,still great)
Thats all i can remember off the top of my head,plenty more though.
My favourite ps store game is battlefield 1943,its excellent.

My screen name is survyguy79 (Same as my vizzed username). I would recommend the HD remakes of the Sly Cooper games. You could get each of them for $10 a game, or buy the Sly Collection for $30. I just got mine with the money I got from the holidays. NOTE: I suck at MW3!
