Can anyone think of a really good obscure rock band? If so post below or put in an image.

Fuagzi is pretty obscure. They ha plenty of chances to go pop and stay the same, but they did things their own way and continually updated their sound. A truly great set of men. Here is their most well known song:

One of my favorite obscure Rock bands is definitely The Strokes. Not too many people have heard of them.....they're talented and the lead singer has a great voice. Have a listen for yourself.

I have a lot of obscure rock bands, but one of my favorites is Cage the Elephant.  I won't go into detail, but I really like how their style can range from energetic to chill to completely non-serious over the course of a single album.  Take a listen:

If you like it, it'd be a good idea to listen to some more songs for a better idea of their style, as it's hard to pick one that represents it the best

YourMajestyKen : I saw them in Guitar Hero I think. I have listened to them ever since. Though they were and still are underground.

I would say the Small Faces. They wrote some really great stuff and I love almost all of it. Plus they are up for R&R hall of fame too. So vote for them!

Scorpyx : Cool, they've been around for awhile, like YEARS. I LOVE the sound of Julian Casablanca's voice and the underground sound of their music.

Hmm....what is your definition of an obscure artist exactly? For instance, Joe Bonamassa is doing well but is fairly obscure in a sense. 

YourMajestyKen : I think that they may have been in three. I think they are in one of the games or at least a rythm game. Though I am not 100% on this fact.

Black Widow. Awesome 70's band. I only found out about them because of a very ill-informed black metal documentary. Only good that thing did. The Awakening is an amazing goth rock band, by the way.

Um, this may not fall into this category but there is this great band called They Might Be Giants. They have been around for years now and have released some really good songs like Particle Man.

Yeah, I really don't think They Might Be Giants counts as obscure. Generally, if they gots lots of radio/MTV play I don't think they count.

That said, my suggestion is Van Canto. They are a German A Capella metal band. For those that don't know what A Capella means, it means without instruments. They do use a drum set, but otherwise all "guitars", "bass", and such are created with human vocal chords, with very little use of auto tuners. The main male vocalist is also very good at sounding like other well-known metal singers (for example, James Hetfield of Metallica or Hansi Kürsch from Blind Guardian). They do a lot of covers, but they also do their own material.

Van Der Graaf Generator is a pretty obscure band and a very overlooked pioneer of the progressive rock genre.
