I type fairly fast. I tried using a computer game that was supposed to teach me to type 'properly.' I got bored of it and went back to my regular form of typing. When I went back to my way, I started beating their stupid challenges.

The last time I got that checked was in 8th grade (about 10 years ago) because it was required to see if you would have to take a keyboarding class freshman year of high school. Then, I was 92 words a minute with 2 mistakes. I feel I am a little faster than I was in 8th grade.

I'm getting really close to 100 WPM.

And that's not an exaggeration. I'm going a lot faster thanks to constantly typing on Vizzed.

I'm actually a tick below average if I remember correctly. However, I seem to do worse when I take those tests so I really don't put too much weight into them. However, I am a very fast speaker or everyone else is a really slow listener lol

I usually hold around a 30 - 48 wpm, I've been known to type a paragraph in a matter of just several seconds under pressure, but I believe that's just the Adrenaline from being near a deadline. XP Either way I'm usually around a 30.

I've never taken a test about it. I had to take business when I was in the 6th grade so that I could learn how to type. It was SUPER boring but I am grateful for it because now I don't have to search and peck at the keys.

I used to be able to hit speeds of up to 140 words per minute if I already knew what I was typing, but my maximum sustainable has only ever been around 70-80. I feel like my speed has decreased dramatically in the past three years or so, though, because I haven't really had a job that required a lot of typing, and I've been out of school.

Also: Not being in an online relationship really slows things down. Add to that not having any online communities to be a part of and you can see how things can get bad, quickly. But thanks to Vizzed and a few other projects I've been forcing myself to work on lately, I feel like my speeds are getting back up to their normal... uhm. Speeds.

Back in high school, I was told I could type at up to 126 gwam. After testing myself the other day, I was tested to type at 116 gwam. My speed decreased by 10 gwam over the past 3-4 years, but I guess being able to type faster than 100 is good for me
