janus : It probably would have been Bible related games.


Bintsy : Best thing to ever happen to me is tough to pick. I'll just say it's a tie between getting married and each of my kids being born.

Worst thing to ever happen to me is probably when the site got DDos attacked about 5 years ago. I was literally investing nearly 100 hours into the website per a week for nearly 2 months straight until the situation got resolved. That incident just took so much life out of me, I had to neglect my wife and daughter for most of that time, I had no time for any entertainment and I actually got pretty sick after it was all over with due to all the stress and fatigue.


Final Weapon : The majority of the users that come to Vizzed come here for Pokemon games. Now that the Pokemon games are gone, there's a huge void and a big loss of traffic.


zanderlex : I'll eventually make a customizable page that lets you filter through the latest forum related stuff.


EX Palen : What would the benefit of a European forum be?


Beastmode64 : I've got 1000s of steam games saved up that I plan to sell for Viz with a new feature I plan to introduce hopefully before summer.


Barathemos : I don't follow March Madness.


osazemccurley : I do sometimes. Sometimes I'll join if it's a game I'm interested in and other times I'll join just to see what's going on. It's rare that I do this though but I use to do it more often. Now days I probably do it once every few months but I use to do it multiple times a month. The site keeps me too busy to play games and interact with users unfortunately.


LunarDarkness2 : I'm not sure what my favorite restaurant is. Maybe Burger King. I like their hamburgers. I'm not a huge food person and I've never been financially in a place to eat at many restaurants so it's really hard for me to pick one.


gamerforlifeforever2 : Not sure but after I get Vizzed into a position where the traffic is no longer dropping. That's my biggest priority at the moment.

The site's traffic was gradually but slowly increasing until Nintendo had me remove all of their first party games. Now the site's traffic has taken a big hit and is slowly declining. I need to fix this before the site gets to a point where I can't justify working on it full time anymore and that could be soon if I don't prioritize the site's traffic.

First of all, it would allow us to talk about things that aren't that well known in the US. Check for example the presidential election threads (with all the political issues), the sporting competitions, all the news and related events... Not every time we create a thread themed in Europe does it get many replies in the public forums, and for this reason it feels like European users aren't inclined to post much. Having a special place for all those threads could boost activity and introduce users to posting.

We could also have our own themed competitions. It's a known issue how timezones and distance greatly hampers us when attempting any kind of competition, the best example being netplay. 

And well, after all, it's just another idea to have an inactive rented forum become active again. What can we lose?

What kinds of ideas do you have in mind that could potentially increase site traffic?

This is a really serious question David and I ask you hear me out......do you sell propane and propane accessories?

Would you rather be a super-hero or super-villain, and why?

Are you going to try and earn another banner this month like last TdV?

EX Palen : Maybe it could start out as a rented forum and see how it goes from there. At the moment there's no space for another primary forum to be added.


gamerforlifeforever2 : I usually like to keep my ideas secret until I am able to get around to starting on them. There are a few reasons for this:

1. I sometimes have no idea how long it'll take before I get around to creating a feature. I also think that talking about a new idea too long before it happens may result into users losing interest.

2. I'd probably end up investing a lot of time answering questions and responding to the ideas of others if I revealed all the ideas I had.

3. Competition sites potentially stealing the ideas.

I will list of a few ideas that I've already talked about publicly though. I'd like to create a marketplace which would replace the current item shop where users can buy, sell and trade physical and digital items along with the currently available items. I want to eventually create a Battle Arena and also a game exclusively built for the site. I want to release a few apps based on features on the site. I want to put together a video game trivia page based on screenshots in the VGR and RGR.

LunarDarkness2 : I was thinking about it before the TdV started but a lot of things have been keeping me too busy this month. I may still try for it but we'll see. I have a lot of high priority things to take care of though.


SuperCrash64 : Was the PM sent to me in November? I have nearly 600 unread Private Messages which explains why I haven't got to it yet. The reason I haven't got to it yet is because it would probably take me 100+ hours to get through and take care of all of my unread Notifications and Private Messages.

I don't remember if I asked this or if someone else did but...

Is it possible to have an admin or a global as some sort of a rented forum manager? Basically the admin/global with that role can edit rented forum titles, descriptions, add/remove mods... etc. It might be helpful for you since you get a ton of PM's. 

Also, has there ever been a Miscellaneous System Manager before me? Or am I the one and only Miscellaneous System Manager?

mohammedroxx3 : It's currently not possible for anyone else to make adjustments to forums since there's no page on Vizzed yet for doing that. Most of the updates I have to do by actually going into the sites database and making adjustments. I plan to give Admins this ability but things always get in the way of my plans which always end up delaying my plans.

You're the only Miscellaneous System Manager we've had so far.

Well, the idea has always been for it to be a rented forum, I don't see such theme having it's place in the main boards.

I'll take your answer as a green light to start it as a rented forum, so I'll re-send the PM once I've adjusted the information it provides and right after that I'll be sending the Viz.

Speaking about rented forums, when you first allowed users to have them did you ever thought there would be as many as today? 21 rented forums is quite a big number.

Also, when where rented forums implanted as such? IT has been around since way before I joined, for example, but I ignore if it has always been in the same place.

If you weren't the owner of the site, which staff job would you find to be most interesting? 

Davideo7 : Have you worked on any projects not related to Vizzed and all the affiliated sites (get-your-rom & mybiblegames) either on or offline, or do you just decided your life to Vizzed and the affiliated sites?

EX Palen : Ok I thought you were suggesting that I make it into a main forum. My mistake.

I'm actually not surprised we have as many rented forums as we have. If I had a more automated system to handle rented forums, we'd probably have well over 100 I bet but due to me having to manually set them up and due to me placing a limit on how many there can be, we'll only ever have less than 25 at a time. That'll change eventually though.

I've been renting out forums officially since 2010 but before that, I rented out forums for various special requests.


Barathemos : I drink about 32-64 ounces worth of Vizzed Soda per a day. I was gaining a lot of weight from it though so I had to switch to Diet Vizzed Soda. Then I started developing lots of cavities so then I had to switch to Sugar Free Diet Vizzed Soda.

Actually "David's Private Forum" isn't a rented forum, it's grouped with the Private Forums. My favorite rented forum (which is no longer up) was probably the collector's forum. My favorite current forum is the Christian Conservatives forum.

That's a good question, I'm not so sure which staff job I would take if I wasn't the owner. Article Writing and Game Reviewing are definitely positions which would interest me a lot so possibly one of those. If Minecraft Server Admin counts then maybe that as well.


IgorBird122 : I haven't worked on any projects that aren't Vizzed or affiliated with Vizzed in a very long time. 6+ years ago I use to work for various clients as a freelancer but it's so much more rewarding working on Vizzed and the affiliated sites since a lot of clients are tough to work with. I do want to get into making more professional qualities videos for YouTube eventually in the near future.
