I am considering watching Fast Five, because one of my friends said it was awesome.

However, he also thought that Superbad was awesome, and I hated that movie.

Well it matters. If you liked the other Fast movies then you will like this one. Though if you did not really care for them you will not like this one. There is a lot of action and not much real store. Just shut your brain off for an hour and enjoy the film. It is not awful or great it is just meh.

I didn't love it but the action was pretty good.

I think my problem was that i didn't care about any of the characters... I also haven't watched the rest of the series any time recently so none of the characters were all that familiar either.

If you're not paying for it then it's not a bad idea to give it a watch but I think you also need to be in the mood for it

I probably would not watch it unless you have been watching the others first. I have not seen it and don't plan to either because pimped out cars and street racing isn't my thing. You might like it though cause you run and like speed (not the drug lol) I think
