Input Director - for those who work with more than 1 computer

Anyone who works with more than 1 computer at a time knows how much of a pain in the butt it is to go back and forth, changing keyboards and mouses.

There are 2 programs which allow you to use an input device for both programs and it works really nicely. Programs are called Synergy and Input Director.

I prefer Input Director; here's the URL:

It works just like it would as if you had 2 monitors connected to the same computer, you're mouse goes off one monitor and to the other. With Input Director you can easily copy files from one computer to the other with ease also.

I'd give that program my stamp of approval it seems like a pretty good idea. Even old 17 in crt monitors are cheap now days 20$, that is less than a kvm switch.

Me? I use 2 systems but one is a laptop so both have input devices. I game and watch movies on my desktop and talk on messenger surf in the internet on my lappy. Seems to work out pretty well, but most of the time my messenger contacts get neglected.
