It is going free to play? Wow I think that I will have to give this game a try then because that is really awesome. I have wanted to play the game for a really long time.

DC online will be on list of what to get on christmas next to my laptop.Hopefully it will be a fun and long game to play.

The game is pretty good. I heard the PC version is a bit iffy, so I just went with putting the 16 gig game onto my PS3. It's quite fun, but the constant occurrence of someone stealing a kill ruins the experience for me. The game isn't the best MMO out there, but it's a good game. And a good way to make me need anger management classes if I play it for a whole day, which I won't try. It is a shame the game became free so close to the release of Skyrim, though...

When I get a HDD I'm downloading this, the videos from what I've seen have me sold already (even though it's free).
Not sure, but I think I saw it on the steam store index as well.

big fat cat : I heard the PC version isn't as good as the PS3 version. I think it's because the game is meant to be played on a console more or less. It has console friendly gameplay, for one. Yeah, Rusty Hearts kinda does, as well, but that game was made for play on computers. If you decide to use the PvE server, my character's name is Klawed Flaw.

Now to share a funny thing that an NPC actually said to Klawed Flaw. Okay, Klawed Flaw is a cat, and I chose to make him be fairly cat like. I even chose acrobatics as the movement type. That out of the way, an NPC calls me a kitty cat. My reaction to this was, "Finally! Someone doesn't call me a human!"

Oh, and is it bad that I find the Distressed Civilian thing funny when you save them from distress? Some of them are depressed over a horse, which is kind of random... I know losing a pet is sad, but just the way they react to me saving them is funny. "I'll get a new horse!"

This game takes up tons of space, and kinda makes me wonder why I have over 30 PS3 games not including downloaded stuff. I might have to delete a few things to make room for other games.

I don't see how it could become free to play unless it was going down. I wonder if the game is losing players.

Hoochman : Most games that are MMORPGs are becoming free to play in some way. World of Warcraft is free to play up until level 20, for example. The publisher probably noticed all the high profile games coming out, and decided they should make their MMO free to play to get those waiting for games like Skyrim hooked.

The game certainly wasn't losing players beforehand. The game has gotten so many players that the game is near unplayable, sadly. This is just the result of the game becoming free to play. Only way I can play this game as of right now is just collecting those spinning things.

They want people to buy the elite version that gives you better stuff.
Iv not tried it because although free,it wanted 10 gigs

DC online is a good game you might be hooked there is lots of stuff  to get in it and lots of missions to do 

KlawedFlaw : I've heard about that. Ever since DC became free to play, Population has gone up 1000%. People are having trouble getting into it.
