I signed up because one of my best friends is a member of this site. I only use Facebook & MyYearbook ; I'm not a big gamer, but I thought it'd be cool to meet some new people. The downside to other social networking sites, is that a lot of people post pornographic material, which makes me not wanna log-on most of the time. Anyway, I look forward to talking with you guys! Welcome to the site. I gotta say, you have to be the first newcomer I have ever seen who didn't originally join this site for the games. Although, the site is trying to expand to a wider group of people, so that is good. I think you will come to find that the community here is about the friendliest you can find in a website. You don't have to worry about people posting porn, swearing a lot, or insulting you because they are upset. That behavior is not tolerated, and the mods are really good at keeping the forums free of that so everyone can enjoy posting. As you noticed, there are threads over many different topics. I would live to see a fellow college student newcomer in the forums. I'm a 6th year student, myself. I'm almost finished getting my degree for secondary education in speech, theater, and biology.
