I have heard from many people that COD series is awesome, I somewhat agree but this new installment fails horrible for a FPS as well as some of the other ones I have played on PS3.

First and foremost, the people who made this game didn't really think to much about how to make it realistic. If you want to make a realistic game there should be no limits as far as where you can travel. For instance you want to travel into that cool looking forest off in the distance only to realize it is an illusion and there is a glass wall up keeping you from venturing further. This is what makes games bad and makes them fail on so many levels.

What I find funny is they have sniper rifles for such small maps. What gives? The only thing I like about the game is the graphics and the smoke. The weapons are ok but fail as far as ammunition wise. Saw can only hold like 79 bullets till reload? That's very dissapointing if your a gunner like me who loves to trigger hold.

Sound is good & graphics are good especially the smoke! The environments are ok but get boring fast especially since that are so small. Stats are horrible!

Anyway, enough bashing... I'm sure a lot of you out there like this game or might like it but from a person who grew up playing the Delta Force series, there is no way any game can come close as far as the gameplay of DF games online.

Overall rating is 5/10 because small environments kill most of the fun, horrible online stats that don't track much, realistic weapons but with not much ammo, sniper rifles + small maps = retarded, if your looking for the same old FPS that tries to reinvent FPS's altogether, this isn't the game for you. It is overrated garbage in my opinion.

Have you played COD2? How would you compare it to COD4 if you have, Better | Worse | Equal.

COD2 for me was an AWESOME game, i played it continuously...

More importantly, What was the story of and how does it rate. Storys are important even in Shooters.

I've played the demo of COD2 although I gave up on it cause it was lagging really bad. But from what I've played I liked it, probably same or more then COD4.

As far as COD4 is concerned I have no clue what the story is lol. I don't care much for single player since it gets old fast. Games like this don't have good storylines because they have been done over and over again. I think the only FPS with good storylines are ones that involve aliens like Prey, Serious Sam, Doom 64, Blacksite: Area 51, Resistance Fall of Man...

Maybe they should have made it COD4: Alien Warfare lol.

After you to that and kill E to save C D betrays you and kills C then you have to kill M N O P Q R S T U V W X Y Z to avenge C you then kill D. Then End! WINNER!!!!!

LOL IceWave! I think I may even have kept up with and understood that. Now I dislike FPS in general (a few have impressed me) but COD4 was fun in multi-player. I cant say I liked the story mode, but I didnt really play it...so....

COD4 is a 6/10 in my opinion.

The thing is, when you try to make a modern war game, you lose a ton of credibility as the war's not over yet and it's historically inaccurate.

OMG this is a good game i played it at a lan cafa and it was good i am thinking to buy it now but i dont have a computer atm *cry*
