I am female and 19 years old. I have just discovered this site and it seems quite interesting, even though the bunch of information is sometimes a little confusing.

In the first place I came here because in order to start over Nintendo games (such as Pokémon <3) as I do not want to delete everything I have achieved in my legal copy...

But now that I am here, I like the forum as well.

Actually, I am not good at telling others about myself, so here are some random information:

♥ I will start university in October (Japanese Studies and History)
♥ Up until then, I kill time by playing browser- and online games
♥ Music is very important to me and I listen to many different styles.

Ja,anyone can tell your gender at a glance anyway.your username is pink which is female.males are typicaly blue.some users have random colours though because they payed for a change.
Pokemon,very popular.id say at least half the site users are obsesed with it(why not,it is very good)

I originaly only made an account to beat the 5 plays a day limit,then i actualy made a few posts,now i only really post.

I don't know what you are talking about when you say you are not good at introducing yourself. Usually, introductions are a few sentences that say hi and why they joined. Welcome to Vizzed! I hope to see you in the forums, as that is where the community part of the site is. This is probably one of the most friendly sites you will find. Everyone tends to be nice, respectful, and helpful to others (especially newcomers). I noticed that you mentioned the amount of information can be a bit confusing. Like thenumberone said, don't feel shy if you have any questions. Even if it is small, everyone is pretty happy to help out. If you ever have any questions or problems with the Retro Game Room, feel free to PM the RGR staff, and we will get your problem figured out or your question answered. Have fun!

rcarter2 is right. You have done much more than what most people do when introducing themselves to the Vizzed community. Most people actually do not even post on the Vizzed Board to begin with, so that right there says something about you. More so, most people who say their hello in here do not even describe anything about themselves. Some literally are just "Hi." Nothing more.

Okay, pointless gripes aside, welcome to Vizzed, Pandaru. If you are having trouble finding your way around the website feel free to send me a private message with any questions you have --or even send me a PM if you just want to chat.

Looks like we share several things in common. First, we both came here looking for Pokemon but with different reasons. You said you signed up to avoid saving over your actual games in real life. I came here because I do not have any of the games. Also, we both listen to music a lot, just different artists. My favorites include but are not limited to Kutless, Thousand Foot Krutch, and Casting Crowns. I doubt you have heard of them.

Enjoy you time here and, again, do not be afraid to ask for help if you need it.

@thenumberone: Berlin really is one of the most beautiful cities in Germany! Sadly, I live in the very west, next to the Dutch border, and Berlin is far away... I have been there twice though, and if I ever get the chance, I will certainly stay there for a longer time than just one week.
I have never been to Japan and I hardly know any Japanese (it's the same with history...) so studying that will be very tough. But still, I am looking forward to making new experiences!

@rcarter2: I think the Viz-system is really good! In other forums you get rewarded for any post you make, even if it is just one word. That's why you always get many comments which actually do not express anything at all... Here it depends on how much you write and thus, how much effort you put in a post. It's good for me because I tend to write very much (and I also like to read long posts).

@AuraBlaze: My  younger brother has been into Pokémon since before he could read and he still likes the games a lot. He owns almost every single one of the "regular" games, except for Fire Red and either Diamond or Perl (I forgot ). I also started to like the games from the beginning and either I bought them myself or (later) my brother let me play his.
Ahh, and I do know Kutless and Thousand Foot Krutch! By chance, I have found them on Youtube and listened to some of their songs. I used the YouTube-Mix function so I always get confused with the titles and can't tell how many/ which songs I know. But I like both of these bands, especially Thousand Foot Krutch. ♥ I also listen to other bands which are rather unknown, but I just named Rishloo (because they are awesome~) and dredg (because that's the last concert I've been to~). Like I said, there are many types of music I listen to. I have also seen Rise Against and Karnivool (<-- rather unknown too) live and one day, I want to see Within Temptation and Evanescence.

Pandaru : yes, berlin is very beautifull.and i like how it has historic bits, and modern bits, side by side.i loved the sony centre too, they had a building shaped like a ps2 and beside it one like a ps3, it was awesome

just a little pointer though, when replying to users if you put the @ right next to the name it wont work
the easiest way is if you just copy and paste a users name from there post like this Pandaru , that way you know its worked because it shows up in colour, while youre still typing
otherwise, just keep the names seperate from any other characters when you enter them.
